Can you powder coat over chrome with a transparent color like candy red to create a candy effect? Or do you need to sand the part down?

On black I’m curios on your oven settings ?. Some people say slow ramp up others say if cure temp is 400 run oven up to 450 before putting parts in .

What did this run cost wise for the customer? I’m interested in getting this done. Also, ever consider head shields from a Harley? Looking for someone who can do that as well

So you mentioned some rims you will do a final light coat. How does that work? You shoot them and fully cure then when they cool off do a light coat or are you saying when you do the part to hot and it hotflicks you will then let part cool all the way and do the light coat while cool then do the regular cure process ?

We usually coat wheels around 200 or below, we do all the faces, barrels, and insides, then do a light coat over the face one more time.

We use coal slag for everything, its not the best but its cheap, local, and works for us.

Whats the best way to protect the internals when the primary cover is off? Just cover it up with plastic or is there a better method?

what do you think about powder coating a motorcycle engine crank cases that are aluminum and have big bearings in them spinning very fast. and also the cylinder to this. it gets to about 260 degrees Fahrenheit.

Temp should not be an issue, I'd only do the exterior and tape off all necessary parts.

When you think about it there's allot of work that goes into a custom PC shop. I bet youll end up with several hundred dollars just in plugs and caps never mind tapes and other masking supplies.
