I understand that you may be busy, but I wanted to check in to see if there are any issues I can assist with or if there's a better way for us to communicate. Chris is there room for the plug behind the mirror if an outlet is installed behind it? Or would you need to inset the outlet in the drywall? Thank for your help. My husband is an electrician so that was our main question.

When hardwired to a switch, does the mirror retain settings such as brightness and color temp we turned on/off?

Thanks for the question. I just tried it, and can confirm it does retain the settings. I lowered the brightness and changed the color temp and switched it off using the light switch and when i turned it back on using the switch, it did retain the settings. The only setting it didn't retain was when I switched off the anti-fog. I switched it off and when I flipped the switch back on, the anti-fog by default is in the on position, but if I leave it, it will turn itself off. That is the only setting that was not retained. Color temp and brightness settings however were retained.

Are the wires labeled or colored to know which one is neutral and negative?

Yes. All the wires are color coded. Just need to match the wires to the existing wires on your light or light switch.

Is the anti fog light button supposed to remain white? Mine is blue when my mirror is off. All the buttons are.

Nice catch! I actually didn't notice that. Blue does indicate it is off. I think it is white because I hardwired it to my light switch, which automatically turns everything on when I flip the switch. If I leave the mirror on, it eventually switches itself off (blue) while everything else stays on (white) I'm not sure there is a solution to have it in the off position when hardwiring it, but an alternative is to install an outlet behind the mirror and plug the mirror in so it is not tied to a light switch.
