I try to explain To everyone that you are my mentor and everything I know about Succulent it’s from you and you know what you’re talking about and this stuff works for everything and I really hope people are getting the message.. I've just found out that my aeonium arboreum zwartkop doesnt like meth diluted even 50/50. All the leaves have fallen off 🤣. I'm waiting to see how many drop their leaves. Much better that 5 different insect species crawling across my lounge. Mixed garden compost in with my pumice and coir. Hey ho. Every day's a school day

I just found out Bernie that different parts of the world have different types of metho. The ones I use is 95% Ethanol. Some metho have methanol which is really strong and can probably kill the plants. My aeoniums that I sprayed are all happy and perky.

@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Liz I didnt just spray. I dunked all of my pots in the stuff because of critters all creeping or flying about my house. I decided I'd rather clear the bugs and lose my succulents than have bugs everywhere. My fault. It will be fun starting again. They will probably keep going and gradually keal over where the aoneum has very thin leaves and they looked desiccated in just a few days. None if the other99 are showing any signs yet. I diluted 50%50% rather than the 1/5 water so I'm HOPING it's just the aoneums. I'll let you know. What was interesting was putting water into it generated heat so it possibly cooked the roots.

Btw I tried dilute Hydrogen peroxide first. That did NOTHING. Though may have contributed to the plant's demise 🤣🤣🤣
