Nobody is better though? I hate watching him in person honestly, it scares the living Jesus right out of me. Have you ever watched him in real life up close? Every trick he does will remake you think your life. Like, you just want to hold the ground while this dude is so far out, so far tweaked, and you realize, 8 ft out on the most tweaked whatever it is he's doing that he's in the middle of setting up for something way gnarlier, but you already lost your biscuits in the middle of this trick and can't take much more.

Amazing as a Baltimore kid I can say he's was the inspiration that drove me to skate 10 yrs of my life going to fisherman's inn with Tony Quick we would watch bucky footage of him just crushing middle and big ramp with Eric b blasting in the background then one-day in hamilton I think tony might've invited him to our launch ramp he was just Killin it we were still early grabbin and he was late grabbing everything so inspiring Just great to be inspired by local kid tht was and did catch his dream we were all chasin

Man, Bucky has to be one of my all time favourite skaters to watch. The guys style is so amazing. For me Tony, Bob and Bucky are like the holy trinity of vert skating. I grew up watching them kill it as a kid, and now like 20 years later they're all still out there doing stuff that you watch and think "what the fuck, that's impossible" Hero of mine since day 1 and still are to this day. I met Bucky when I was a kid at meriden mall in ct with Lance conklin and I cant say enough how cool they were to me and my homey when we were just groms!!! Such a cool dude and I am so glad to see that he is still killen it and on top of his game. Its an inspiration to the old cats out there continuously trying to progress and not letting age stop us from feeling like kids🤟love yah Bucky!!!!!

Truth to the fact that skateboarding keeps you young because I’ve skated for 35 years and at the age of 45 I’m out performing everyone at work which is a physically demanding job and that’s after I learned how to walk again a few years ago. I haven’t aged like most of my friends my age. I’m a ball of energy sand still skating !!

Bucky lasek and Bob Burnquist are my favorite vert skaters still to this day. I've been a street skateboarder for over 2 decades and I have so much respect for vert skaters bc everytime I went to the Kona skatepark in Jacksonville, FL I'd always go check out the big vert ramp (half-pipe) there and would be amazed watching people skate it in person. Anyway I have so much respect for Bucky to still be skating at his age and I hope to still be skating at that age myself.Much love to fellow skaters and I wish everyone a healthy and safe 2021.
