Yeah, It’s a shame to see such a large part of the series, this other side of it just vanish. I still hope that it may be incorporated in some way like some of their monsters coming to the main line games or possibly another frontier game. Then again I can only hope.

@@androblade3009 Yeah, same here, I would love to see more Frontier stuff in the future. Capcom did add a few frontier-esque moves to Alatreon and Fatalis. Hopefully they announce something for the next gen consoles.

As a side note, almost all of Stynogre's raw hitzone values are worse when he's powered up, which is one reason why it's beneficial to get him into a non-charged state.

I know I'm late to this, but I see a few times in your vids that you clutch claw onto a monster but then you jump off. Is there a reason for this? Does it increase the amount of time the monster stays drooling?

I've been trying to get into longsword. I know the joke is that LS is training wheels on training wheels, but trying to get those counters down takes some work. Like, you have to be ready almost all the time to go into the counter. I thought it would be like CB and you could do it at any time but nope. You gotta plan that shit.

are you talking about when the monster is drooling from clagger? If you claw onto monster during that window, you gain about 4 seconds of monsters not doing anything. So you have more time to attack it.
