Why is a connector necessary in power apps for a custom connector that uses OAuth and is set with a client id and secret. We have issues with the connector becoming invalid every two weeks or so and have to re-login

Hi. Could you do a full example with checking the on-prem gateway? You kind of gloss over that you just check the box. I am having issues wanted to see an example.
