Power Automate in Business Central Approval Workflows and More

Originally introduced to Business Central in 2019, Power Automate helps streamline business processes in your ERP system that otherwise require human interaction. It’s visible on nearly every page within Business Central, but, like many other elements of Business Central, many users don’t know how to use it because they were never shown how.
This is your opportunity to learn how you can streamline some of your processes in Business Central using instant and automated Power Automate flows, some of which don’t even require you to leave Business Central!

Great video, question, what if I want the approver in the user approval setup to receive the approver request notification? For example, Employee A approver will be different to Employee B's approver, we would want that to be a dynamic function in the who approves the purchase order.

Apologies for the delay in responding, but the short answer is yes. Since this video was produced, Microsoft has released a "Get direct approver" step that allows the requestor's direct approver to become dynamic content later in the flow. This eliminates the ability to direct requests to individuals if you require approvals to go to specific individuals who many not be higher in the chain than the requestor's direct approver, but that's not always necessarily a problem.
