Sorry for the long wait, but I finally got a product prototype that I am confident in aesthetically and functionally, and it is ready for production. I will most likely make the electronics design open sore once it launches. For the 3D printer, I will try my best to get it working by mid-June. If you have any questions and suggestions, please ask away!

Great stuff! Would like to see battery-care features, like limiting state of charge to 20-80%. You lose 40% capacity but gain on the order of 400% more cycles! No product I've found offers that - makes sense for a large manufacturer to limit the lifespan of a device. But it could give you a selling point. :) Those LEDs are nice and bright... unless you're in a dark room. Hoping to see some way to limit display brightness, maybe even automatically. Throwing "ModPod" into the hat of names. It's modular, and you could call those external modules "pods".

Nice design. I think a module for an extra battery is a nice addition. Just in case someone needed more battery capacity.

Oh I can't wait for the crowd funding!! Would LOVE to see the entire thing injection molded!!!! Can't wait...I will definitely be ordering one of these bad boys!!!! I wonder if a dot matrix printer could "print" liquid UV curable 3D printer material...this way it just shoots it on the print..and UV lights expose the print and it hardens...this way you don't have a tub of liquid 3D material but rather a tank and either a pressurized head just shoots it out to the print

Amazing powerbank! Good choice of MCU and all other internal components. It's really well made and not over engineered ;) But actually I don't know any powerbank that have some wireless communication or something. More metal frame with plastics would be amazing but harder to manufacture and more expensive :/ I don't know what could you actually upgrade there. Maybe some better protection from dust etc. And more strong housing? Also I don't know it it's good idea but small buzzer to beep when the power is low? I got some inverter and it beeps when the power is low and it will shut down in a while. Like a reminder that you don't have much time left hah But flashing LEDs is enough I think. I'm looking forward to see updates on it ;) At this time I don't have any powerbank and I would like to make one myself, but yours is truly stunning for me. Ah, and the name! Maybe... MPPB (Modular Portable Power Bank) or something simmilar like UPMPB (Ultimate Portable Modular Power Bank) Guess it's too long hah For short - MPB (you know what this is) Even shorter? Here you go: MP (Modular power) Probably I'm not good at inventing names :/ Have a great day :)

What an amazing device! The flexibility alone would get a buy form me. I have only a couple concerns. First, If I put this in a backpack, I can see that module switch getting caught up and bent. I also see the switch getting activated and enabling the output port. If there was anything conductive to bridge the connections, It could cause a fire (I'm sure you have safety measures in place, but still). I would recommend installing a smaller switch or recessing a micro switch in the bank a little bit (and just modify the bump in the module that activates it). Either that or making a cover plate to protect it. I will be keeping a close eye on the 3D printer project as well!
