See Excel is mainly focused for Data Analysis part and Power BI for Data visualizations. Visualizations of power BI u cant compare with excel it is much faster n can publish dashboard on PC and mobile app too.

When it comes to crunch GBs of data in enterprise environment Excel cant even even thought to do the job.. Power BI is special BI-Reporting tool which can be used starting from your desktop to server to cloud. hope this gives the direction to right way. Thanks
