if DAX formula works as filter level, then we can do the same just creating a measure with sum function. Later in the dashboard, if we select 'Female' or 'Male', that particular measure of sum will give filtered data. Right?

When we can achieve this with only Calculate formula's expression like below Total Female sales = CALCULATE(SUM([Total]),Sheet1[Gender] = "Female"))
