Theory: Zion knows Kanan and possibly Breeze. He is a part of Power: Origins As Zion was introduced in this episode, we know he accepted the meeting with Tariq because of his father. More interestingly, was he knew Ghost was James St. Patrick and Tommy’s temperament for being wild and crazy in his behavior. Zion was fully aware of James’s identity and to know is to have been around a young or younger James in the streets. Z Zion probably worked for Breeze or Kanan like James and Tommy did.

It looks like Sascha Penn is helping write this season of Book 2 because the plots are tied together properly and the slow burn of Monet’s backstory and Zion knowing Ghost and Tommy and what they did is very well done. Also selling the Porsche is such a great move because it keeps Tariq’s hands clean and he doesn’t have to be on instant swivel on the lookout for 2Bit. The end players are gonne be Tariq, Davis, Cane and Zion and maybe Effie. Monet is going to jail. Dru is dead. Diana will run away or get killed and Carter will be their main op come the new sequel. Monet will kill Noma. Tasha I can’t call it. They need to get rid of her. Pointless now. I think Brayden might squeeze by but he won’t work with Riq anymore. I feel like Monet’s cousin is either gonna rat her out or kill her to save what’s left of the Tejada family. Money lets her guard down around her more than anyone.

@@suzinmiami the way it connected it was the usb had information about Tariq and his business at the time involving the tejadas, the usb just implicated Tariq in the drug business. So that already having been on the radar for junior since receiving the usb. Now they connected the two because of Tate. They know Tariq and the st Patrick’s have an extensive yet secretive history with Tate and Tate was the one who helped get the green cards for obi, obi is connected to Noma and if you connect the dots that Tariq and Tate helped obi there seems to be some type of foul play that would spike an interest. The green cards just connect Tariq to obi therefore connecting Tariq with Nomas organization, it’s really nothing that can stick but there being some sort of trace connection they can put points together that don’t exist or connect dots that’s they aren’t completely aware of, saxes death was what set everything in motion. I agree that the storyline was going to be much more or different before the cancellation of the show but that’s as best as you can try to put the 2 together.
