My headcanon was a little convoluted but what I figured would happen was Galatea would accidentally absorb Supergirl's memories completely (when the headpiece broke) and think she was literally Supergirl when she woke up, reinforced by the fact Supergirl was now absent from this time. She'd try being Supergirl for a while, do some good, eventually someone figures it out and convinces her that she's Galatea. She would have to come to terms with her past and feel undeserving of being Supergirl but also not wanting to be linked to Cadmus anymore, thus becoming Power Girl.

Regarding the QOTD: i think Vext from the shortlived 1999 Keith Giffen book of the same name would've made a fun one off episode character or minor recurring presence, his position as a god of bad luck but without any control of it has a lot of potential for interesting storytelling in a children's cartoon (see something like the disney programme Milo Murphy's Law running for multiple seasons with a similar premise) seeing the JL Members have to deal with threats and misfortune caused by the simple happenstance presence of a character who himself means no harm. Would be fun

Swamp Thing- Someone please correct me if I’m wrong and also tell me which episode he’d be in because that would make my day. I would’ve loved to have seen The Swamp Thing in the DCAU. He’s got such deep rooted lore and a mythos that has planted a seed of love and hope in my heart. All kidding aside Alec Holland thought me a lot about moving on with life after a tragic event and dealing with anger and helplessness. Mon El's typical origin has him always be a 20th/21st century transplant to the Legion's time. Because Daxamites are vulnerable to lead and the poisoning is permanent, he spends 1000 years in the Phantom Zone (or some analogous dimension) until a cure can be developed by Brainiac 5. He was also known as Valor for a time due to him replacing Superboy as the Legion inspiration post-Crisis. In the post Zero Hour Legion, he adopted the Martian name, M'onel because Valor was too much of an icon to operate publicly in the time period. He'd become a quasi-religious figure. There was another Supergirl analogue in the post-Crisis and Post Zero Hour Legions. Laurel Gand, aka Andromeda was created for the "Five Years Later" Legion and was even formerly involved with Brainiac 5. She was a distant descendent of Lar Gand (Valor/Mon El) or at least his family. In the post Zero Hour Legion, she started as a bit of a racist since Daxam was extremely xenophobic, but she mellowed. Like several of the characters from that Legion era, she hasn't been seen much since The Lightning Saga and Legion of Three Worlds brought back a closer equivalent to the pre-Crisis Legion with Superboy (young Kal El and Supergirl) as members.

For the final question, my answer would definitely be Plastic Man. He almost showed up a few times, like in a BTAS Team-Up movie that was passed over for Mystery Of The Batwoman, and in JLU that didn’t happen because of his own show that was happening at the time. We got to see him in a few issues of Batman Adventures from 2003 in his Eel O’Brian self, and in later DCAU-adjacent books, but never a full-fledged proper appearance BY Plastic Man! I just think it’s more than time for him to show up somewhere, anywhere! (Not to mention, another pre-Plastic Man Eel O’Brian showed up in Bruce Timm’s Batman Caped Crusader!)

I love that Cla Dek could be the DCAU Powergirl, I used the idea for one of my stillborn fanfics. The JLU comics had good characters like All-Star or Dominion Manhunter, which they could have expanded on. Also... What if DCAU Power Girl is Justice Lords Supergirl, who came as a refugee? or What if several Power Girl variants existed in the DCAU and the stillborn Supergirls Comic (Power Girl, Pre-Crisis Supergirl & Matrix Supergirl forming a team) existed in the DCAU.

A point that makes things a lot simpler; not every costume in Superbabes was a hero. After all, a Harley costume while she was a villain. Galatea WAS known to the public but never named. As with Superman's name being granted by the Daily Planet, so that could have happened too with Power Girl. A hot blonde in a leotard with a boob window is going to be subject of nerd imagination and the eatery catered to hot females in super costumes. Good or bad does not matter, just hotness.

Okay, but what if _this_ Supergirl is the Galatea of the alternate Earth from Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths? We know Worlds Collide is basically canon, even though we didn't see it, so she would be a clone made from Ultraman's cousin (That he probably killed because he's a prick and *wants* to be the only person with the kind of powers he has) made by Cadmus' good counterpart, who then got fried like Galatea, and imprisoned by the Crime Syndicate because she might be useful as a super powerful mind-wiped meat puppet, but they never managed to get the process right, and after President Wilson arrested everyone, his team was going through the CS's stuff, found a barely alive Powergirl, and told the JL to take her to their universe because he had enough with one rogue Kryptonian to deal with?

Or how's this for an idea: "Powergirl isn't just 1 power girl, but multiplues" The 1st Powergirl we see in the "comics" is the Daxam one coming back to earth to strengthen earth's heroes after the Justice Lords event. Have her there as an ambassador of Daxam and also an outside force of the Justice League as their own leash in case they go justice lords.. then Daxam would return and take them out. Then after the Cadmus incident and between seasons. Powergirl returns to Daxam due to some crisis but inspired Supergirl enough to change her outfit to be more like Superman's and helped train her abit. After that... Supergirl vanishes and now we can use Galatea's "return" and takes the title of Power Girl as she grew a concious, but is presumed dead, so by being the Daxamite Power Girl, no one assume it's her, not even Cadmus. OK, So I actually have spoken to Bruce Timm about his other art outside of the animated series. He did some lovely versions of Asuka and Rei from Evangelion (in fact the giant robot from the episode where the League get thrown to Earth 2 was inspired directly from Evangelion) and when I asked him about that he told me that he just loved to draw pretty ladies. Which, fair enough. That's why he has drawn a lot of other characters, even in Marvel. In fact one of the variant covers of Spider Gwen was his take on the character. So, Bruce Timm drawing Power Girl, completely makes sense here. Oh you had a QOTD, Umm Spectre. I read a bit of his book back in the 90's. I don't remember seeing him in the DCUA

One thing I always assumed was the media caught footage of supergirl and her clones fight they needed a name for the clone "Power Girl" was used so maybe that was all the public ever knew, and she became popular enough that a sleesy fast food joint decided to name its burger after it and someone made an even more revealing costume and some little bit of backstory for her online somewhere.

Power Girl being the Daxamite Cla'Dek from Justice League Adventures #3 theory; Truly makes more sense then her being a resurrected and reformed Galatea, an idea which is unbelievable considing she was largly unrepentant for her actions. Nicolle Tom voice acting was perfect as both Supergirl and Galatea as the differance between the two characters voices was very subtle; Nicolle was also able to convey the contrasting personalities of both women with her portrayal.
