Great music! Harumo cooks on this. The way she bobs and weaves while playing reminds me of the boxer Joe Frazier from back in the 70s.

Don't forget Philip Woo! Dude has been around a long time and is performing with the kids to stay young.

@@PhilipMcCaig Which is Philip? Care to share a song to check out?
@PhilipMcCaig2 ай бұрын
@@mrjoshd Just enter Philip Woo Band on KZbin search. I can't remember any particular songs. The quality of the videos of his band performing is not great. And it looked like his group had about 10 musicians. I'm pretty sure Harumo was there sometimes when she was just a kid.
@Philip-t2j2 ай бұрын
@@mrjoshd I'm sorry I misunderstood your question about Philip Woo. He is the keyboard player on this and he had his own band. Maybe still does.

She really is great. I can't see anyone else doing it quite like she does. And she obviously loves it when others shine, too. Makes me like her even more as a person.

Juan, I've only been following you for about a year, and I'm just thrilled at the content you've put out. Baby Girl ❤️ you are amazing and Harumo, Phillip, Nobumasa, and Adam are just as incredible. I live in the Bay Area (San Francisco) and whenever you find your way here, I'm gonna fight like hell to be front row center to see you. Love Always ❤❤❤

Larry Braggs went to Argentina and did a show with the Tower of Power Queens in Buenos Aires which is on youtube. 12 phenomenal women musicians in that group playing some of the best stuff you've ever heard. I highly reccommend.

Real jazz!!! This was brilliant. Juna put a great lineup together for this. Harumo was really killing it. She is at her best on this, just absolutely terrific. Everyone was so in the groove. Philip Woo is not a young man and I think he has been a wonderful influence for the younger players. They are definitely keeping jazz alive. Could listen to this jam all day!! And how about those shoes, people?!

I don't think I have seen this drummer around before. All the other performers here are familiar from other videos I have watched. The drummer, Adam, did a very nice job here and I appreciate a drummer who does just enough and doesn't take anything away from the song by being too showy. He deserves some praise for this. I loved this performance by all of them. It was organic and, to me, it felt pretty much improvised, exactly what I like.
