Amen. Being a teacher myself, I can relate to this story. There are days when I am frustrated because it seems I am not making a difference in the lives of my students. Through prayer and the support of the administration and coworkers however I am able to face each day. It also helps when I notice a change in one of my students. Nothing gives s teacher greater pleasure than seeing their students have that light bulb moment when they solve a problem that's been giving them frustration. Also, when you see a positive change in their behavior. If I can get through to at least one student in the class, it gives me hope. Teaching is a calling and I know it's by the power of the Holy Spirit that I am able to get through each day. It is the Lord we are truly serving and He will perfect all that concerns us. May the grace of the Lord be with you all. Amen.

Midway through my 42 year career as a flight attendant I found myself often complaining about management, their policies, procedures,etc. One day, while listening to Larry Burkett, he said something that I took to heart and gave me a new motivation, excitement, and vision for my “work.” He said whatever boss you think you have is not your boss. No matter your job, you’re working for the Lord. Those few, wise words changed my attitude altogether and changed me into a very happy and mission-oriented employee from then on. Thank you for the beautiful reminder of this wisdom that I can take into my everyday life!
