i-pedal is available using the left paddle : regen levels 0, 1, 2, 3 and then i-pedal. You can also set the amount of braking to normal or strong via settings. I have had my car since Thursday and it’s great!

It's a tremendous car - have had mine for a year. Its wonderfully comfortable to cruise on a motorway - especially if you let it drive - but can also thread down B roads pretty well. Though it IS wide, as you say - so watch out for that. The EV system itself shows the maturity of Hyundai's EV tech. The regen system is perfectly judged and you can dial everything in precisely as you need it. Press and HOLD the button on the steering wheel to turn off lane keep assist, by the way. An essential shortcut. Charging speed in summer months makes road tripping an absolute breeze and the range in warmer months is far more than you really need. Its just a really, really solid, fun, convenient, practical car... That looks fantastic.

Hiya, and thankyou! I'm looking to buy an ioniq 5 and this guy saying about being thrown across the road is concerning as a wheelchair user. Trying to see if I can have my push pull added but it's been ace in my leaf. Does the ioniq 5 have e pedal type driving? That I find really comes into its own with push pull.

The back seat adjustment is super handy for people who might need additional cargo space, and only use their back seats for a dog (instead of people). Dogs don't need the legroom (it would actually be better to have less), and the upright seat back makes it much more convenient to place boxes (i.e., air conditioners, I guess) in the back.

Thanks for the review, I’m considering leasing one in Premium trim. Any issues with the 12-volt battery? I heard that was an issue in early models, I hope it has been fixed.

There's a button on the steering wheel to turn off lane assist and lane centering

The button on the steering wheel only disables the highway steering feature, not the lane departure assistance. The only way I could turn off the latter was through the infotainment screen and that change would not persist between drives.

I think if you save your driver profile, then the settings (e.g. lane assist off) get saved too
