I have recently found your channel and now I am addicted on your videos.Best tutorial i ever found.I really want to learn side hop but i don’t know the perfect timing to use pedal kick on side hop

Thank you so much, that means a lot! The second half of the pedal kick tutorial has this “side whip” technique that can be really helpful for learning timing on the sidehop. Check that one out if you haven’t already!

Hi Aaron, I am one of those who, thanks to your videos, realized that thinking of side hopping as a pedal kick provides a real advantage! Thanks for boosting my learning curve with your excellent tutorials!

Right on - I’m so glad that was helpful! Makes such a difference once you get the pedals working for you. Have fun - that’s my favorite trick!

Awesome work on these videos, Aaron! Thank you for taking the time to break this down and put together such approachable video instruction. I've said for many years that, fundamentally, trials comes down to three things: balance, timing, and precision. You're creating detailed and digestible demonstrations of these fundamentals. I sincerely hope your videos allow droves of people to get into our sport.

Thanks Michael!! Doing my best to do exactly that, one technique (or five!) at a time. It’s been interesting to go back into skills and think through all the components that go into each one - it’s almost like a way of relearning something when you teach it!

finally a super slow-mo on lunge.....

Definitely adding the super slow-mo feature on every tutorial from here on out, I was worried that the image quality wouldn’t be as good in that filming mode, but it seems fine?
