I agree with the sermon. How do you hold fast to your confession while telling your doctor about a health issue. Example: a broken arm, an infection, etc. How can they help without your telling what the issue is? I'm not trying to be contrary. I just want to line up correctly. Thanks for the advice! God bless!

I think that is why Christian Scientists dont encourage going to doctors. What happens is that you get a report and then have to put a lot of effort into negating it. I believe sometimes doctors are necessary if our faith level isnt high enough. Maybe you could say to yourself "I am just relating the symptoms but my God is greater than these symptons." Not easy. I think that when we call the physical sense testimony a fact it makes it harder to confess the opposite. It is easier to think in the true spiritual realm, I am perfect and I am healed although a belief in the symptons tells me the opposite. In reality it is NOT a fact in God's kingdom that we are sick! Can anyone imagine Jesus going to heal someone and having that person not be healed and Jesus saying. "Your faith was not strong enough". No way! I know people who cried out to God in desperation who were healed that had no hope and no faith. So having 100 percent perfect faith is NOT always required to be healed.

You are right! And the author is not trying to say that you need 100% faith to receive healing. Healing comes through various ways including Gods compassion even on people who did not ask for it. The point of the book is that why should you wait to receive the healing through someone’s anointing or some healing evangelistic meetings or just Gods mercy and compassion or plain just trial and error when the Bible guarantees healing through another means called faith. So growing in faith is a better way to receive healing and not the only way. In short you are right and the book too is right but you misunderstood the intention of the author😊

Because they believe this is “manifesting”. They forget that satan has a counterfeit for everything God has. Manifesting is using “soulish power” (affirmations, vision boards) to achieve success. But the bible actually teaches that if you speak to the mountains in your life, and tell them to go into the sea, it will be done. We speak what we believe and those things happen. Look at the rappers who talked about death all the time…almost all of them are dead. Satan take positive confession and removes God from the equation and just wants you to rely on your efforts and his false prophecies for your life. But if you speak Gods word and his truth, you will see THAT fruit in your life. Thats the truth.

If a person is given the gift of healing from God and they lay their hands on someone they should be healed regardless whether the person believes or not. I think this is a good video with good message,. But requiring someone to have 100 percent perfect faith is a tall order few people have.

If hands are laid by a man of faith, yes you are absolutely right. The person does not need 100% faith to be healed he can be healed due to the yoke being broken by the anointing in the man of God. The danger is, when the man of God goes away, it takes faith to maintain the healing for scripture tells us that the devil when gone out he roams about and comes back and if he finds the person empty without faith and the word, he becomes worse. This is why the book tries to teach that everyone should have faith and not just depend on the anointing on the men of God as that sometimes is not sustainable
