I was a little disappointed in Shimanuki here. It seems he's stagnated a little ever since the tournament started ranging from fine-to-underwhelming. I hope he can pull out something great before the tournament ends. Anyway, I'm stoked for Hakamada, Karasawa, and eventually Takahashi!

Yes. The channel obviously, this is living, he does not point out the massive issues in this episode, he's an optimist. Great little moments, really jerky animations, some reused animations and a lot of proportions issues.

I mean, I'm not that into mecha anime, the only ones I remember watching right now are "Gurren Lagann", "Knights of Sidonia" and the original "Gundam" series (only 3-4 eps), but I DO like mechas. "Megas XLR" is probably my fav mecha show ever, and the most badass/funny series I've ever seen.

May i suggest some of the mid-2000s mecha, like mazinkaiser (if your ok with some nudity in eps 3 and 4), Godanner (if your ok with general more frequent fan service), Daiguard (if your ok with economics) or Big O (one of the very very few instances i'd say the dub is undeniably better then the sub).

I REALLY Hate Gurren Lagann. The man can bring back back ppl who just died back to life using the universal Spiral force, but instead his excuse was "theyll get in the way of the new generation." By that logic so does everyone else who survived the fight. Oh and Ajay, notice that every dude that kissed Yato (personally NOT a fan of that) and gave the viewers only a brief moment of tension release, died within that episode. The best shonen Character of the show, Kamina and Kitan, were killed of cause of their connection to Yato, I mean WTF, why writers?
