Power of the Paddle - DOCUMENTARY

Power of the Paddle follows the women of Abreast in a Boat, a series of dragon boat teams made up of breast cancer survivors. Through the sport, these women find comfort in their community, all while staying physically active.
This documentary was produced by Sonya Kuitenbrouwer, Maddison Buckingham, Aleigha Andres and Grace McLeod, in partnership with Abreast in a Boat and BCIT Broadcast Journalism.

Thanks for sharing this. Concord 2023 was my first race and I was really moved to see an entire race dedicated to survivors. I appreciate that other races have followed suit and honor survivors in this way as well. I'm looking forward to cheering you all on in two weeks.
