This has to be one of the most important messages Pastor has preached. I've listened or watched pretty much all of them, but this one is so important and that is why I am watching it again, again, and again. I want this so ingrained in my spirit, if some one asks me about the tithe or the legal way God operates, I will be able to answer intelligently.

This man is undoubtedly blessed with a brilliant teaching ministry.The Abrahamic precedent sets a great pattern for Christians today. Other faiths appear to be much more generous with continuous giving all year round. The tithe is a teaching that develops, and in Malachi it comes in a setting of God’s challenge to be fair,and to enjoy better personal relationships. The tithes at the end of the old testament are for the temple to help enhance worship and to assist the levites. The second temple was a plainer worship centre by far and had even greater need of support! One the famous tithing denominations in the United States is the Southern Baptist union,formerly a spiritual home to Jimmy Carter and his wife. Because tithing is part of their church membership,their missionaries are treated royally in the field and are well resourced, for the work of world Mission!

Well said of tithes. I've always wondered why there was 2 trees in the garden of Eden? God gave dominion to Adam over the earth but He also knew the devil was lurken around. Adam like we all always have a choice. If Adam loved God so much He would've made the right choice. Jesus had to come to fullfill the law. He is GRACE. Yes, our tithes is a choice to Worship God! I love that. Thank you Pst!

I enjoyed the teaching. However a STRONG CAUTION. Even in situations that seem exactly like what another person has described and what they heard The LORD GOD tell them, you should WAIT upon The LORD and ask Him His Answer for your particular situation. Automatically following others is what messed up many WORD of Faith people. It is The WILL of The LORD GOD that we have a Personal Relationship with Him and Know Him as Our ONLY Teacher - John 17, Matthew 23:8-10. Pastor Gary in one message mentioned Bill Johnson and I am personally aware that Bill Johnson's ministry went through a very challenging time and what you saw was that they ASSUMED many things to be true and did not seek The LORD GOD for what His WILL was in the particular situation BEFORE THEY PRAYED. One example was that they prayed for a young child to be raised from the dead because they ASSUMED based on the Scripture on raising people from the dead that it was OK. I asked one of their members if they asked The LORD what His Will for the child was and he was surprised. The child never came back to life. Some of their activities were clearly inviting demonic spirits. I personally watched a video where Bill's daughter in law claimed that the color of "The HOLY SPIRIT" was blue! As I was associated with pagan religions before I was Saved the only "BLUE SPIRIT" I knew was a demon the hindus worshiped. Not long after Bill's son was admitted to hospital with a nervous breakdown. A few years later Bill's wife passed away from a fatal disease.

Scripture NEVER teaches that about time because you supposed to give God ALL ( 100%) your time not just a tenth of it!!! Pretty crafty. Says it is by grace, but then lists a bunch of OT laws that you have to perform to make God work. This directly conflicts with Romans and Galatians. You don't get the spirit (or the things of the spirit) by 'working the laws'. You get the spirit and all his benefits (including financial restoration) by faith in Christ. You cannot blend OT law and faith in Christ. According to this Gary's teaching, Jesus didn't fulfill the law on your behalf. It's still left undone. You are not an inheritor of his riches by his grace. You are not an heir, and his grace is not sufficient. You have to work the system yourself. If you just keep the OT law, then God can work. Otherwise God is powerless. Jesus defeated death and hell, but didn't do anything to free us financially. He didn't come to help the poor or set financial captives free. Like Gary says, just take on more burdens, because you have to save yourself financially. Jesus didn't help you. He just let you drift out to sea on your own. And it's not done by the spirit, but by human means. Sounds like a very tricky anti-gospel, sadly.

Don't confuse salvation will the sowing and reaping. If you sow to the flesh you will really corruption. If I commit adultery I promise you a curse will come upon me. If I murder I promise you I will be in jail. All the faith in the world will not make rich in jail. Please balance sowing and reaping in this life vs the next. Which by the way we sow in this life to also reap I. The next
