yeah, too bad the last 150 decks are literally the same deck with exception of a few cards. With Yorion this channel became a shitshow, what a downfall. We need a Yorion song now instead of a monored one.

hey i just started watching a week ago as i started playing mtga for the first time because my friend wanted to play with me. i only play 1-2 hours a day at most and i love the content. my friends been playing for a year and has only gotten to diamond however i just reached mythic after playing for about 5 days. i think thats good? youre a really good source to learn from and have a good down to earth personality. youre the reason why im doing so well in the game and learning so much and i try to watch every day if i can. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. :)

@@lakingpaul it was something like 90-95% I lost my first ever game because I didn’t have a deck yet and my opponent stomped me with a perfect mono green curve. That’s when I did my research and started crafting the deck I wanted to climb with. The games were around 6 minutes on average as long as my opponent didn’t stall. The win rate is buffed because I didn’t lose for the rest of bronze to gold. I lost once in plat to tibalts trickery and I lost 4 or 5 times in diamond. Three in a row as soon as I reached the rank actually, two of them were my fault. I then changed the deck to meet the meta and sailed to mythic. I just got the match tracker sadly cause I didn’t know about it until now so I don’t have proof of it. :(

@@lakingpaul I played cycling but depending on what I was seeing and how the game was working for me I changed the deck as I went up. I’ve heard of good players having a similar win rate using the deck as long as you understand gamestate and your matchups. I got lucky on my matchups but the deck is capable of it well climbing.

I love watching CGB battle Rogues. I can honestly say I would not be able to beat Rogues as much as I do if I had not followed this channel. Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've been torturing Rogues in mythic lately with a Sultai Yorion build that main decks just one Cling to Dust. Exile Sweepers and CGB-style patience has done the rest. It is very satisfying.

More of a confusing take, at least for me. What are the angels supposed to do? (The card you want to cast must have been exiled by the robber, if that was the point.)

@@perlundgren7797 if you happen to steal a legion angel from the opponent and cast it and it etbs, it will trigger, allowing you to search your sideboard for a card named legion angel and put it in your hand. it’s basically just a scenario when you have no other cards

I have an idea that I think WotC should definitely do: whenever we open packs it’s always so infuriating when we get a 5th copy of a rare or mythic that we already own bc it does absolutely NOTHING for us😞 instead, it should transfer into a wildcard of the appropriate type. I feel like zendikar lands screw up hoe mtg arena picks your opening hand, and it doesn't work the way you expect it to in paper magic. Instead of giving you some insurance against mana screw, it frequently gives you 2 or 3 tapped lands in your opening hand. It picks the hand with the best land spell balance but it doesn't care that they are all Jwari disruptions or something.
