I have a flail mower too that I have only attached to move it off the truck. I hope to have some good grass in the upcoming weeks (we finally got some rain) and I will do an early review of it as well. Thanks for watching!

I agree with sullivan that the flap assembly needs to removed and installed with what is now on the right to be left. But I do not have the power rake yet. With all of that forceful pushing, I think I can guess how the belt shield got bent, you can straighten that. I think your power unit lift arms are not sliding in level with those of the implement. I have done that with the rotary broom. The front tips of the lift arms seem to be below where they should align. You can not see what you are doing with those hoses connected. I cheat by not plugging in the seat safety so I can attach implements while standing beside the front of power unit to see what the hell is not lined-up.

American made and all those issues on an attachment that costs 9k?! I'd be screaming at someone

Page 17 of your manual, step 3 of detaching may help in future to set the implement to align with power unit.

A little grease on the hitch arms helped me on a few of mine. The flap on my barrel is also far away letting too much roll over the top.

I think it's a measurement issue, I just got the dimensions from Technical support and will measure it soon. I will also make an update for the flap resolution.

I'm seeing a lot of bad with Ventrac. not sure its worth $30,000.00

Agreed , if that's the price range , I'd expect something closer to perfection, with onsite support.

whoever assembled this model was probably on vacation at days end...lots of QC missed...I guess it happens...it shouldn't, but it does. 🤷🤦
