I'm sorry, man. It's amazing how we can attach memories to things, the good kind, and bad. Just because you lost the boxes, doesn't mean you have to give up the good memories. Hopefully all those good memories don't get spoiled from what happened to you. I rubber box most of my stuff, and even throw in some cotton balls treated with grapeseed extract just incase something in there has the potential to grow mold. It can even become like tetris once you really get going. Also if you do get chickens, they make for a really nice nesting box with some modifications. If you can stand the smell, vinegar is great for cleaning up water damage or areas that had lots of rot. It's basically all I clean with anymore, it's so strong yet you can also cook with it. I rarely comment on YT stuff, my apologies if this isn't the usual type of comment. Hoping life treats you better.

I kept most of my old boxes in the attic at my parent's house. Sadly one year they had some humidity issues and it ended up ruining a few boxes, especially the Ninja Megazord one. I also left batteries on my Command Center and ir ruined the cardboard cut out of the desert and the electronics stopped working.

As a fellow collector, I feel this pain. I moved out of living with a friend, and didn't have room to move my Final Fantasy figures with everything else because the distance made me only want to make one trip. I asked if he could hold onto the box for me until the next time I got out there, he said okay. Two months later, because life stuff, I heard out to grab my stuff to find he stored the box on the garage floor. It got soaked and so did the boxes and figures inside. Total loss, what with all the tiny crevices and books that had mold in them. He told me it wasn't his fault I didn't water-proof my figures before putting them back in their boxes. We didn't talk after that.

The Halloween Dino Fury saber looks really close in size to the memorial ryusoulken, which is already a really good size. If people wanted a good prop with sounds they could pay a lot more to get the memorial ryusoulken OR they can just pay $17 to get a pretty good size prop that just doesn’t has lights and sounds. We can’t have everything

I always recommend doing it yourself when possible. And especially things like personal photos/videos, things that can't be replaced like that, never trust to other people.

One of my least favorite things that most current PR Toys did, Like from Dino Charge to now is when the mainline toys sound/feel "childish". Like the Beast Morphers and the Dino Charge Morpher had that V-Tech sounding voice, like its trying to teach the ABC's when your morphing. As an adult collector the best things for me, specifically with roleplay, is that the toys look and act accurate to the show. As close as reasonably/humanly possible. I just think its kinda harder with the mainline toys because those are the ones that are appealing directly to kids, thus those tend to get a lot of awkward downgrades and its harder to justify for an adult.

There are certain voices that drive me nuts. Bandai did that a few times. Was it the Silver Ranger Super Megaforce morpher...? There was one morpher that really annoyed me. That very generic kinda high-pitched voice. But, Power Rangers even now still uses toys as props. Usually from Japan, but those are real easy to get these days. The Ryusoulger toy keys are what we're seeing on screen. I always loved that about Power Rangers. They had a full size prop gun for In Space, but every so often you'll catch Andros using the toy, for some reason? Quasar Sabers on the belts were toys. Lightspeed Blaster was the toy. Quantum Ranger's gun was the toy sometimes... you can see all the screw holes in the team-up when he's talking to Taylor. I had wished prop dept would have filled those. They did that sometimes. But, anyway, that's to name a few things, just about every season uses toys as show props. Love that.

They're gone. It would be very expensive to replace them, and then I'm paying for them again, only to store them, again. It's fine. I have way too many boxes... the water made that decision for me. I'm really trying to get rid of things. Kyoryuger wouldn't have been my first choice, but, good. Gone.

Bro whaaat. This is soooo sad I almost couldn’t watch it that hurts me hard as a collector!! I just don’t understand how it could happen again I would be so devastated after the first time I wouldn’t stop at anything to protect my stuff. PLEASE people let this be a lesson in protecting your valuable collectables. We spend so much on this stuff there’s no excuse to not spend on protection for it. Always put your stuff in matching, clear (or not if you need to hide what your storing from 👀) and WATERPROOF storage boxes!! It is an absolute must. As soon as one box is filled you go buy another, and as you buy new collectables you put everything that isn’t for display in the boxes. Do it as you collect. The point is DO IT. It’s a sin to spend this much on collectables you treasure and not buy Walmart storage boxes for them. And money cannot be an excuse because at the end of the day we’re spending our money on plastic toys *cough * high quality action figures. This video hurt my heart to its soul. I actually don’t know what I would do if this happened to my collection. I’m so sorry for you two :(

Thanks for taking your time and giving eryone an update, the hubby and I are big fans of y'all and we both are truly sorry for the loss of and all the damages both of you have had to ensure, this past August makes the start of my hubbies 8 year of fighting Brain cancer and yalls content makes him laugh and he lives both the power rangers stuff as well as just getting to see you guys going your day to day. Also you need to have that contract checked because a notarizer isn't going to risk his job on a scam like that. It's a bummer your stuff got ruined. The things we buy are not just objects. They are connected to memories. When it comes to props, I side on what works with a costume. I got the Bandai SPD Delta Blaster toy for a SPD Red cosplay, and they were small. I bought some hollow plastic costume Delta Blasters that were the perfect size. The paint was lacking, no sound fx, and they could not combine. That did not matter, because they look nice in photos.

It always comes back to time and money. The plan for the garage was always to finish it and have great storage in there. We have no money for that now. Those plastic buckets & shelves have gotten expensive! Prior to the movers, the garage was in pretty good shape with things not being on the floor, but since that stuff came we hadn't had a chance to sort through everything and figure out storage. 😕

Hey man, I don't really follow your channel anymore but have been a fan since 2014/2013. But still thank you for helping me get more into sentai and Toku as a whole. Thanks, yeah, our ongoing mini-disasters aren't always the most fun. The Party City sword is cheaply made, and cheap to buy. That's what I like about it. I didn't understand why the two pieces weren't fitting back together. I still don't. Eventually I forced them back together and glued it. There is always a (great) possibility you're paying more for something that's cheap. But a 29 inch Dino Fury sword for under $20 feels like a steal, especially today. Don't unscrew it and you should be fine. Some gold/silver spray paint makes it looks like a legit prop, and it probably won't break if you're careful with it.

what you should do is buy large plastic bags cut them to size and then wrap the action figure boxes, so they are protected from moisture and water damages. Had my collection damaged from water flood also 😢

Glad you had your comics protected. Whether we can take our own advice or not, plastic bags & buckets are a must if storing things in the basement, garage, outside shed, or anywhere water might get in! Late November will be a year since those scumbags were arrested. Hopefully a trial is happening eventually... I'm sure they're still out there scamming.

I've not had a mishap as big as this, nor does my collection even compare in sheer scale, but Target totes for my boxed collection and even loose figures with foam sheets or bubble wrap between layers of them has survived multiple moves and storage situations for me. Cardboard is a no-go for my sentimental valuables! Moisture and direct sunlight are the enemy, friends!

this is why you keep stuff on pallets in garages or shelves. never leave valuable boxes sitting on the floor. we had a nasty bit of rain one day and we lost TONS of old family photos, the following year my mom bought shelves and pallets to put everything on. now all we deal with is mice lol

Yep, that's why I'm always saying that. And great for everyone who has the time and money to have every last thing they own in a plastic bucket or on something that won't get ruined, and somewhere where there's no possibility of fire, water, storms, varying temperatures, animals, theft, etc etc. Photos are easy to keep safe. Scan them. Upload them somewhere. Have them on a drive. Keep them in bags in plastic buckets, have many copies in various places... as for enough cardboard to fill a 2 car garage from floor to ceiling, that's gonna take some time to get everything properly protected. I hope it was visually evident in the video that much of our garage has shelves and plastic bins for that very reason, but we also just had a truck load of things delivered that we were still sorting through that were on the floor, in an area we previously did not know could get wet. I know everyone thinks they know how to have something like this not happen to them, but really, things can happen anywhere. Our area also now has frequent tornado warnings. That's a new thing...

some fans will never be happy, as elfang0r said, people want a real dragon dagger that summons dragonzord for $3.50 and it needs to be able to slice and dice daikon as well. they want all the bells and whistles of a Legacy or Lightning collection item but at the price of a bootleg/knockoff Move-Robo that is covered in lead paint, and gives them lockjaw just looking at it. some fans will never be happy.

And for me it also kinda takes the fun out of what we do. I'm here (or over there) as MMPRtoys, as someone who likes making fun things, and I'm trying to make fun things for people who want to be angry and want me to be angry too, over toys. It's not a good feeling when we upload some fun high effort video and all of the comments are just about how they don't like this toy, followed by (mostly) very unreasonable and thoughtless reasoning. There are a lot of adult fans who haven't like anything in over 20 years but they're still here. I don't get it...? Toys are supposed to bring joy and inspire imagination. Not make 30 and 40 year olds angry.

@@jrschmitt6187 All of the adult size things have been more expensive. The kid size toys have always been main-line prices. I don't think that's ever been an issue. Also keep in mind that Power Rangers uses toys for props. Almost every single season has a prop you can buy. Usually it's the Japanese version you're seeing on the American show, but, either way that's pretty amazing. Kinda mind blowing as a kid, that your favorite show uses props you can get at Toys R Us for $10. If you own the Ryusoulger morpher & keys, you got screen-used Dino Fury props.

Despite the bad things I hope you both are doing alright and loving Dino Fury, I will say you should sometime tackle the memorial Rysoulkin as for what you are paying for it's taking the DX toy and making a prop size and detailed sword work with all the keys. I've been doing model trains but with Plarail a Japanese system by Tomy.

Hey Bruno, I know it’s been a while that I haven’t stayed in touch with you for any moment but as I see your power rangers, super sentai and etc. boxes got wet on any like this really makes me feel sad, I’m sorry on how and what really just happened to most of your stuff here, it’s really great and best to see and save those boxes with every products you have bought, so without them, it can be hard to take care of them, the best way to protect and save them is finding any plastic bags and plastic boxes so it may not get wet much so it should work once the ‘original’ image boxes had now ruined, I feel like I’m not in that mood

Sorry about the cardboard. But plastic is easier to demold.

You might not want to use bleach because color, but 90 percent rubbing alcohol works and then a powerful dehumidifier or a/c on high.

Yeah, unfortunately the boxes weren't made of plastic. 😕 Part of me wants to get rid of boxes. They take up SO much space. But the Japanese boxes are really hard to part with. I did throw out a ton of stuff before we left California.
