By now, that's kind of become the focus of the game. Almost every character has a ToD, and you basically have 3 shots at winning before you're done. Mistakes are severely punished, and approaches are fast and frantic. At first, I also thought that ToD's would kill the game, but it ended up turning into a niche for all those MvC3 players who couldn't get their itch scratched in years.

They did a crossover with Capcom a few years ago for the power rangers mobile game and when the console game came out they still had the license to use those characters that they created for the mobile game thus we got Chun-Li and Ryu ranger

It's the same reason why SFV uses training stages as their tournament settings. There's only 2 stages that cause performance issues, and 1 is taken out of rotation for all online matches and just their for story mode/training itself. The reason nearly every FG uses training stages in their tournaments is because these are all played on PS4s and pros, which are NOTORIOUS for their native input delay, training stages mitigate this by the most to create the most even playing field.

I feel you, doing the same combo from 100 to 0 with no variation is lame. It's a lot more impressive for games to allow recovery, and seeing a player punish that recovery chance, or bait a recovery.

@@MingusDynastyy you are right, in fact they tell me that I have to practice more when clearly we are seeing here an example that not even the best players in the world can counter 100% combos, no matter how good you are this game is almost like a lottery, who misses a single hit loses, I can tell you as a dragon ball fighterz player, I spent more than 2000 hours invested in that game and I became fairly good but I assure you that its mechanics are fairer than this game and it's a shame because it's fun to play when it lets you
