The Power Rangers production has a great opportunity with the Cosmic Fury series since it has no Sentai scenes, so it must prove that it can be successful without them.
Power Rangers is an American television series and franchise of the tokusatsu genre, version of Super Sentai Series, a Japanese television series of the same genre. It has been broadcast since 1993. From 2002 to 2009, the franchise was owned by The Walt Disney Company, but was reacquired in 2010 by Haim Saban, its creator and original driving force between Mighty Morphin and Wild Force (the latter created early in production before the sale of Saban Entertainment to Disney). On May 1, 2018, it was confirmed that the franchise was bought by Hasbro.

7:10 I don’t want to be Mr negative but I feel I have to(I’m sorry in advance). Why would they bring any of those rangers back? The phantom ranger especially, this is a show for kids and most won’t have read the comics. With that in mind. Bringing the phantom ranger back would just be an odd choice. don’t get me wrong, I came into the fandom when Turbo was airing, in space was the first vhs I owed and lost galaxy has my favourite ranger esc character, the magna defender and time force is a favourite season. I just don’t see it as likely that any of those elements would be included, it’d probably be expensive for some elements and others wouldn’t be logical. I want to be wrong on this because if we got to see the original magna defender’s ghost acting as a spirit guide to a lost artefact or even a zord(the zords have a bull zord so why not have him guide them to where the zord is) but I just don’t see any of this as likely. Again I want to be 100% wrong, I want the alien rangers, blue Centurion, Ninjor(please come on, he made the power coins why he hasn’t he reappeared!) and even the Mercury Ranger to suddenly turn up again! But I just can’t see the budget to bring in so many expensive elements to be done. Hasbro is already paying through the nose for one nostalgia rush….I don’t see them paying extra for a season they’re probably very aware they have to get right.

Phantom Ranger would be perfect. It's a character that's prime for use. We don't know their identity, extent of abilities, backstory, anything. It'd also show they are listening and want to actually use the mythos the franchise is rooted in.
