I remember years ago hearing they would be discontinued. There are lots of listings for stands that look just like them, but have mixed reviews. Cool! Since you mentioned display ideas and boxes, some of the ones I've used have been cutting out part of the box and covering it in white paper if the figure is recessed and doesn't stand, taking old books and wrapping them in plain paper as a surface. Being my display is in my office and wanting to incorporate my books, small storage boxes are for the small items (like the Ranger Keys and Sentai Gears,) and in some instances, the tops of the books are used. For the wrist based changers, Michael's sells jewelry stands. An aura changer or Zeonizer can fit into each level.

Great displays and good options for displays. The acrylic stands really are the way to go if you’re not going to build scenery. Now I just need to convince my wife to allow me to have a detolf shelf somewhere to display my PR, TMNT and Metal Gear figures. If you have a tutorial on that, I would love to see it….

I see more options on Amazon, thinking about trying. One downside is the display stands will make less figures fit (if every single one needs one). But, if you're just using them for certain figures that are more trouble than others, it should be fine. On the Zord wall I actually use a glue gun to secure some of those small ranger figures. Glue guns are great b/c they stay, but you can peel the glue off later if you want to move something.

@@MMPRtoys My primary problem is for the lightning collection figures. I did buy some of those NECA stands a while ago and they seem to work pretty well for a few of my figures I chose not to put on the risers I already have (Rita refuses to stand on her own!). I'm currently using a 3M tacky substance to keep their feet stuck to the risers and preventing them from falling over. It's working for now, but I'm concerned that I'm going to have a mess on my hands with cleaning their feet if I ever want to do anything else with the figures. (would take any recommendations you have for cleaning that off without damaging the figures!) I like the glue gun idea. That's something I may need to look in to. I liked the recommendation of those acrylic table-style stands for megazords too. I currently have all my megazords on one level and would like to do a tiered display. Definitely going to check that out. Thanks again for all the recommendations!

They work on tons of figures. Even my 1980s TMNTs fit. And of course the NECA stuff, NECA makes the stands. Every so often there's a figure that doesn't want to work, but so many of them do.

I'm STILL trying to complete my Brontosaurus, which I've been doing since the late 90s. Man those pieces are insane! I did get very lucky. I was a little ahead of the game when I wanted my older stuff back. I had that TMNT display shelf built in 2009 and ordered all of those 80s/90s figures on eBay. Got 'em all new in box so they'd be clean and have the accessories, and they cost nothing. I don't think I paid more than $20 for any of them, and many were a lot less. Then one day, not too long after, everyone collectively decided they wanted old TMNT figures and MAN did those prices go through the roof. (I got Hot Spot new in the box for $65 around that time, I see him go for $600 loose w/o weapons now). Same deal with most of the Dino Riders. Seemed like people were mostly trying to get rid of them when I bought them. If I wanted them now... forget it. (I guess I won't have those last few releases...prices for those are just insane)

@MMPRtoys a lot of collecting does seem to be timing. Hard to say what has driven the prices of some of these items so high. New interest? Low demand because of age? Even a Dragon Buckler in great condition just 4 years ago was around $900-1200 and you could find one or two a month. Now they're impossible to find and the one I did find they want $2500. Inflation on some of the things we love to collect has gotten crazy.

Do you ever rearrange things at times? Likes you have the turtles all uniform right now, but do you change it up and put them in an action pose at times?

There's really no way of knowing. I usually leave things alone once I'm happy with them. At the same time, I do move things around every so often. I let the space tell me what they're doing. Will an action pose get in the way of other figures? Will they still fit in the space? In this case, I think they look good the way I have them. I remember putting Leo's sword down b/c it was blocking the figure behind him. It's a small space with a lot going on, so, I think that's good. If the figures were somewhere else, like, in a diorama fighting foot soldiers or Shredder, or something like that, I'd do it differently.

Plus I can dust the figures and areas easier since I'm moving things around. And I can really sympathize with having to tweak a display because an accessory is blocking someone or something. It's frustrating, but I make it work.

Bandai used to package their figures and zords (2016-2018-ish) with photo backgrounds in the boxes. Have you ever saved any of those for your displays? I’ve done it a couple times for mine.

Nearly all of them came from eBay. There were some new sets (Dairanger & Kakuranger) which came out recently-ish, those came from Tokullectibles, but the older seasons, pretty sure, were all eBay.

Hey Bruno & Mia, big question hope you answer, do you think stands for 3 3/4in figures be enough to stabilize 6in lightning collection figures? Space is REALLY tight on my display, and the bigger figure stands you used here wouldn't really fit it.

I don't know what stand you're referring to. I do all of this by just trying. If it works, I keep going. If it's no good, I don't use it, or find a different use for it.

Bandai actually did it for all four male rangers that year. I never got blue/black, but Silver's was kinda cool. It was a dragon. Lost Galaxy had a good handful of armored rangers as well.

@MMPRtoys only 7.25 inches so even the 2 tier stands would look weird, like the 3 tier on the BILLY. I currently use some basic 1 tier risers for Marvel Legends, but the 3 tier levels look so much better and works for large collections of similar height figures like Lightning Collection.

Hmmmm, kinda needed to know if it fits in a detolf display cabinet from IKEA, it's what all my LC stuff is displayed in. I have 1 shelf dedicated to each season, the same goes for every seasons villains. I have 11 cabinets so 44 shelves in total and some of the ranger and villain shelves are getting a little bit crowded like MMPR S1, PRZ, PRIS, PRSPD, PRBM, PRDF MMPR S1/S2/S3 Villains, PRIS Villains and PRBM Villains. These things could really help my displays if they fill the shelves but still fit on the shelves.

I gave the measurements in the previous video, and if you click any of the display links, they have all of the dimensions in their images too. Which Lightning Collection In Space Blue Ranger would you recommend more? The 2-pack version with Psycho Silver or the version with the Galaxy Glider?

I think that's a personal question. - Does it have to be either-or? - If so, would you like a Galaxy Glider, or Psycho Silver? I'm unaware of any differences with the blue ranger figure itself, so, if you can only have one you have to decide which is more important. If civilian heads are something you want, Psycho Silver does have an alternate Zhane head. (That would also be annoying if they do blue, but don't do all of the Galaxy Gliders... I would personally be collecting them for a full set)

When you say review, what specifically are you looking for? Kimberly has been on this channel so many times over the years. There's nothing left to go over. Every figure is the same.
