I figured the Zords returning would be very exciting for fans but most of the comments I've seen have been either about them looking bad, or about how they were destroyed and shouldn't exist, and including them ruins continuity, etc. I thought I'd share some ideas as to how the Dinozords could still exist.

I forgot where it was mentioned, but I remember hearing the zords are capable of repairing themselves due to their connection to their morphin grid. It is just that, the more severe the damage, the much MUCH longer it takes for the repairs to finish on their own.

I'm tryin' my best. I've seen infinitely more nitpicking than joy. That's not how it's supposed to be. Or maybe my age is showing. I swear when I was a kid, being a fan of something meant you loved it. I was up for the different 2017 movie, but I get it's not what fans remembered. THIS is exactly what people have begged for. It looks like the Power Rangers we remember. It's as many of the original actors as they could have gotten. Familiar voices. Ron Wasserman is back doing the music. I just assumed there wouldn't be Zords, I was mistaken. It's concerning that fans aren't losing their mind that this is happening and just nitpicking like's it any ol' episode. At least see it first...

@@boogerman908 Rita was hit with Zordon's energy wave and became good after that. Evidently there's more to the story. Somehow her evil was able to take a robotic form, and we'll need to tune in on April 19th to find out. It's all about watching the show to learn the answers.

I have a theory, maybe the Sentinel Knight used the Corona Aurora to restore all the powers, weapons, and zords of every ranger team as a show of appreciation to the Power Rangers for helping him recover the jewels and he also used them to combine all of Tommy’s morphers into the Master Morpher.

Rita and Zed succumbed to goodness when Andros shattered Zordon’s chamber. Unless she reverted back to evil, This is just an android with Rita’s memories, and ambition.

The line in the trailer says she finally found a body. I interpret that as somehow her evil managed to take a form despite being zapped by the Zordon wave. We'll find out on April 19th!

I hadn't even considered the possibility that the zord battle takes place in the past, it makes so much sense honestly. And it really makes a great case for why Kat was using the Pterodactyl Coin and not a Crane one, because they know they're going back in time and they probably can't send zords back in time with them, like Time Force does, so they have to plan to use the zords that are already there.

Exactly. Zords are robots, robots are built. Like, if they once had the zords, I'm sure in-between battles they were repaired and maintained, so, it isn't out of the question that they would already have the full blueprints and schematics/breakdown of them. Like, plenty of teams' zords are human-made (Operation Overdrive, Lightspeed Rescue) Not to mention technically, it is very likely they still have the Zeo Crystal, it's power constantly growing. Between that, and Ninjor being able to either mend or re-forge coins, and Billy's technical knowledge, like, it should be pretty easy to re-constitute the lost powers/arsenal.

Powers and Zords come back when the story needs them to lol I assume the VFX team scanned the ZAP Megazord, like they did with the Legacy Falconzord in Dimensions in Danger. The cracked tube is probably there as a memorial to Zordon.

Wait!! The special is gonna be 55 minutes!!! It just keep getting better. For the longest time, when Power Rangers started a new season, had a team-up or did those 2 to 4 part episodes they were always a rushed 24 minutes. A whole 55 minutes with no ads because its on Netflix. Its like we're getting a short Power Rangers movie, and I can't wait!!!!!

Great video! Unfortunately, I think the PR fandom has a lot of people who love to nitpick - maybe excessively so. Like you I'm just extremely gassed to see Zach and Billy again, and to see them in the limelight. I did like the CG for the zords in the trailer, reminds me of the CG that was designed to be reminiscent of old school fx in Shin Ultraman.

Well if Boom Studios Comics are anything to go by perhaps Billy met, in the timeline proper, Grace Sterling who helped him make new Dino Zords and repair the Power Coins. We know she did it for the Green Ranger. Also in the comics we’ve seen that the Morphin Masters create and use Masterforge which allow for inter-dimensional travel as well as time travel. Perhaps like you said they have used that to return the zords.

It can't though, the thunder powers that were use to transform the Dinozords into the Thunderzords came directly from Zordon's own power source. Without him the zords could not transform. Remember that although the Dino and Ninja powers are made by Ninjor, the Thunder powers is not which is why Titanus was not compatible with the Thunderzords unlike the Dino and Ninjazords.

I have a thought. In Mystic Force, Rita turned good and became the Mystic Mother. I'm wondering if the Machine Empire had something to do with Robo Rita. Maybe they constructed a replica of Rita Repulsa when she was evil and decided to unleash it on the world? If time travel was involved in this storyline, maybe that could explain how the Dinozords came back in the present day. They may have been plucked out of the past before the Power Rangers became rangers and returned before Rita crash landed on the moon.

-Billy mentions that they had been working on the sabertooth tiger for some time, and we know from in space i think? that they do repair zords, and billy built the zeo zords himself. -The command centre, as mentioned several times, is actually a secret section of billys office. Basically billy is batman. -Also it was alpha that accidently destroyed the dinozords initially due to a short circuit, it was not zedd and it was a stupid accident. -And zordon was the one who built them, while ninjor(not mentioned in the special as he has a different role in japan) was the one who made the initial power coins. So its not beyond them to build more or rebuild them.

Considering that I also have a lot of questions about the special too, something tells me that we’re going to have to tune in to find out how the zords and power coins are back ( I’m mostly curious on how Aisha is back from Africa) and if the question is unanswered, then we’ll leave it up to our own theories ps I know my power ranger history Bruno( 30 years of it memorized) ( again we’re going to have to figure out the zords are back, my guess is probably alpha, billy and ninjor had something to do with it) and I can’t wait for your new video tomorrow too

My theory is Zordon’s death only purged the evil energy from the body, not destroyed it. So say a resurrected Lord Zedd is able to harness the evil energy and transfer it to a new body. So evil Rita is resurrected while the purified original remains active as the Mystic Mother.

Tbh, I just kinda say that the Legendary Battle was a massive power restore, and that somehow involves zords. That's also how I justify Grid Battleforce having a ranger vault. They were made, originally, to store the gear of retired Rangers post-Legendary battle, and just kinda stumbled into the stuff we saw in Beast Morphers. The backlog is gonna come back no matter what they do, so may as well have fun with the headcanons.

I've chalked up "Legendary Battle", "Dimensions in Danger", and even the return of the Dinozords here in "Once And Always" to a very simple explanation...a bone thrown to us way back in "Once A Ranger": Sentinel Knight did it. How he did it, we may never know, but the fact is he did it. 😎😎😎 How Billy was able to return to Earth (didn't he say that he'd have to stay on Aquitar in order to retain his youth back near the end of Zeo??), how and why Kat gets the Pterodactyl Power Coin (ESPECIALLY if Kimberly was captured IN MORPHED FORM), and how and when Alpha 5 came back (wasn't that Alpha 6 from Turbo & In Space who Adam went lookin' for in "Once A Ranger"?)...yeah, those are the hard(er) questions.

The zords were restored when zordon died but took Billy years to figure it out. Once he did he was able to bring the coins back using the zords. And the green ranger power came back cause the dragon zord was never destroyed

Goldar's very dead. Then a new Goldar came back in Beast Morphers, and now he's very dead too. Will we get a Robo-Goldar? Will he make some other appearance? We'll have to tune in on April 19th! I do this for the channel, but as Bruno-the-fan, I don't see the point in talking about everything and worrying about everything. They had me at "MMPR reunion." There was no way I wasn't going to watch it. I'd rather be surprised and find out as I watch it. I think I speak for very few people these days, but knowing everything going into a show/movie ruins the experience.

My theory for the Rita robot actually being Rita is simple. Look at Wild Force. Merrick was possessed by the wolf mask and became evil when turned into Zen-Aku. After the mask and evil were destroyed, Merrick returned the zords he had stolen as Zen-Aku. This shows even though the evil itself was destroyed, Merrick’s memories of being evil were not. Perhaps it’s the same with Rita. The evil could’ve been destroyed but not her memories. We don’t know where Zedd went so maybe he found Mystic Mother and did something to awaken her memories as Rita. That or found a way to extract her memories, creating a second Mystic Mother/Rita, similar to Doomwing being created, and the evil gaining a robotic body because Mystic Mother was strong enough to overcome the split just enough to not allow the evil to have a body of flesh and blood.

I'm not worried. It's been 27 years since he went to Aquitar. If he could get there, then he could certainly get back too. Rangers have done all sorts of traveling. Through space, to other planets, lost galaxies, other dimensions, through time... the Alien Rangers came to earth a few times. All they really need to say is "Billy came back from Aquitar." I personally don't need an explanation. If I see him on earth, that's how I know he came back. It's a 55 minute special, personally I'd rather they didn't spend too much time explaining that unless it's a really interesting story.

So while I am not as clued into PR these days as SS, I see no issue with any of the things in the special! And you're so right, there's a line to be drawn between speculating based on trailers and jumping to conclusions based on the meagre amount of footage in a 2 minute trailer.

Never seen your videos until my Google directed me to you. But thank God someone that isn't just trying to destroy something before we get the chance to even watch it like so many did to female led Ghostbusters which was good maybe should have made number three first before forcing it on people but I watched and and love it. If course liked afterlife better but anyways just like the latest power rangers movie I loved it but to many people never watched it but gave their opinion like they saw it and complained it wasn't like the original it didn't have to be let it be it's own thing I'm ready for an adult themed rangers and I'm 40. But yes they can get the original zords so easy. Lol great video.

Andrade pointed this out in his review the logo on the command center is the HyperForce logo so it is very possible that the HyperForce rangers went back in time and got the Zords as well as made the Command Center as this could be the Alpha from HyperForce.

Spot on. The current staff have done a great job of making the lore work. I don’t expect this show to ever make sense even in relation to the start and end of the same episode. There’s never been that much care for continuity even with the best seasons. It’s all ok just to accept this for what it is. Also the command centre being rebuilt looks good and the tube would of been still in tact to store there so it’s good having these Easter eggs.

Personally I don’t think it’s really necessary to tell us where the zords came from. Just taking two minutes to think about it and you get an infinitive amount of explanations that could work. I like it when stuff doesn’t hold your hand to waste precious minutes on exposition. We’ve had this universe for 30 years, we can come up with our own head canon explanation.

We got a weird suggestion, how about everybody just be happy we're getting something that was never promised and has been up in the air for years. Personally we don't care how they bring them back and are just happy that this is happening at all. Although, hopefully they don't take the Goseisplaning route. 😂 We here at the studio are super excited and can't wait. We know it's going to be amazing. We have proof of that and there's a perfectly good explanation as to what that proof is..... 😂

As far as I remember the zords and power coins are linked. Adam was still able to morph with a broken morpher during in Space and by the time of Operation Overdrive it had been repaired good as new. No reason that the zord wouldn’t also be able to be repaired. By the time Jason showed up in Beast Morphers it’s safe to say the old powers and zords had been fixed

From the 90s, unfortunately. I haven't seen one of those in ages. It originally came from Spencer's and was used in the Lightspeed Aquabase lab. Spencer's doesn't have as much cool stuff these days.

Lord Zedd had a bit of a meltdown and In his rage he tried to banish the zords back to the depths of earth, their original resting place. But before lord zedd can do so Zordon gave alph specific instructions. Alpha sent the zords to a secret hidden location and used the remains to power up the thunder zords

@@VHSValdesHasSpoken Well, if the Dinozords were used to create the Thunderzords, and the Thunderzords were destroyed, wouldn't that logically mean so were the Dinozords? If we're saying something else, it's not a thing that was ever explained in the show, which I thought made it pretty clear.

@@MMPRtoys two thoughts on that Bruno. When the original set of Dino coins connection to The Morphing Grid was heavily damaged due to the lost of the destruction of The Thunder Zords. The fate of the dragon coin and the Dragon Zord was never established by means of cannon, although it is safe to say that the dragon coin made its way back to Tommy. Who is to say that the dragon coin wasn't used to repair not only the dino zords but the link between the dino coins and the Morphing Grid. That's Part 1, Part 2 would be the fact that rita rewound time which can create a paradox in time making it possible for the Thunder Zords never being destroyed ...... As i was writing this i noticed that maybe perhaps the thunder zords were never destroyed because they were never used which means it can also be possible that the dino zords were the ones that were destroyed instead. Ughhhhhh darn it Bruno your going to make me think about this all night ugh lol

Exactly for my podcast. I don’t just tell you what’s all gonna happen and give it that spoils it in American tell you what will happen sure, but there could be many details that still play out without knowing its Power Rangers people. We love it we don’t question it, and it makes total sense you guys act like Power Rangers makes no sense unless they spend a whole season explaining it they could say one word and boom explained, nothing complicated than washing great simple zword evolution is very easy it’s hard to build one but still I mean I mean SPD wild force ranger and somehow I am 18 years later than a SPD when it’s two years away but there’s a simple explanation
