Shattered Grid is my favorite saga from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic saga. Seeing every Power Ranger from different eras coming together always sends chills down my spine. The ending always gets me. I met Jason David Frank twice with my sister, and she always had a huge crush on him. He was so nice and kind. I still can’t believe he’s not here. It doesn’t seem right. I’m still shocked and heartbroken. RIP JDF🥺😢😭💔💔

The last year of his life was just such a horrible tragedy. He worked so hard for so long to be a good guy and do for everybody what he could and then in the end he's so depressed with no one helping him and just takes his own life.

It's still upsets me... Always a massive fan of the rangers, such a huge part of my childhood, when I was first put in care I got a VHS of the Turbo Movie, a proper safe place to get away from the troubles of the world. I'm always grateful for it. Much love to everyone and thank you JDF for giving me safe space when I was little, giving me hope that there are real heroes out here.

Now it's our turn to look out for them and make sure they know how much we love them. Part of supporting these people is letting them now how much we care. Don't take them for granted. Lord Drakkon appears to the grave of Jason David Frank. He remove his helmet before he stared on the grave. While sitting on his throne and watching the multiverse, he saw this man known as JDF is was just an actor who played Tommy Oliver himself as Green/White Ranger as well as Zeo Red and Dino Thunder Black. Heck, he even played as Lord Drakkon himself. Lord Drakkon came here because he had heard JDF had died due of suicide and he felt something he never wanted: Pain. It wasn't pain from himself. It was a pain of other people who loved JDF not just his role as Tommy but he inspired many children and other generations to do some right things for their lives. When he heard JDF had died, he can feel the shock, disbelief and painful reactions of every people who both idolized and praised him. Sure, Lord Drakkon maybe an evil dark powerful alternate version of Tommy and a tyrant but seeing JDF's death really hurt him the most. He never meet him but his death did broke the shell of the dark lord. As he still staring, a fan of Power Rangers, who is wearing a T-Shirt with a helmets of Green, White, Zeo Red & Black Dino Thunder Rangers walks to the grave and saw him. Fan: *shock tone* What the? Lord Drakkon? Lord Drakkon: *look at the fan* Tell me, child. This man...*pointed JDF's grave* Is he a GOOD man? Fan: He was. He maybe an actor but he still a Ranger, no matter he played as good or evil character. Lord Drakkon: Am I a Ranger? Fan: You maybe a powerful dark lord but still, you're always be a Ranger. Lord Drakkon: *silent in few seconds before turning to the grave and then kneel in one knee to pay respects to the living Legend* Thank you. The fan also kneel the same and pats Lord Drakkon's shoulder as Kimberly/Ranger Slayer of his timeline appears as she removed her helmet, looking sad. She pats Drakkon's other shoulder before take a kneel beside him to pay the respects of a great man and a Legend. R.I.P. Jason David Frank aka Tommy Oliver. Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger. May the Power protect you. 💚🤍♥️🖤

I feel like the best way to honor JDF is for this saga to become an animated movie or series. It's a movie, it should split into three parts. With some changes. One of which is once the captured rangers are rescued, they then join the fight with the other rangers fighting on the moon.

They were about to. They made a live action trailer to hype the comic. Neo-Saban (the previous owners of the franchise), seemed interested in doing it. But once the franchise was sold to Hasbro, the new owners scratched it completely. So now we will never get JDF as Drakkon. RIP The legendary ranger.

I generally disliked the guy once I found out about his more... scumbag tendencies behind the scenes. I won't pretend he is some kind of saint just because he is gone. Still. To take his own life? I wish it hadn't happened. I can only hope he had managed to lay his demons to rest before they pulled him under. For all his flaws. He didn't deserve this. No one does.
