Yes it is, but I will say I just ordered the Z23 full kit with the stainless steel braided brake lines (minus calipers) for a good price from CARID and they are really nice so far. Biggest improvement is braking from speeds above 80mph. The stock brakes would start shuddering and did not like it at all. These are solid and smooth under pressure. Time will tell as it's only been a week or so but so far so good.

This is NOT a review. This is a sales pitch. I'll give you a real review. I've had the pads and rotors on my '08 Accord's all for wheels for about a couple of months now.The first few days the ride was incredible. About 1 month later I started hearing a mean grinding sound. I took apart ALL FOUR pads + rotors and found nothing. I decided to try and embed the pads a little more with repetitive breaking. A month later my pads are sticking to the rotors causing drag. I doubt these pads will last into the summer. The rotors look pretty but all this hassle isn't worth it especially when I'll need to replace them soon. There are many reviews of people complaining about cracking rotors and premature wear. Avoid this brand and stick to either genuine OEM brands or get a better set at your local auto parts store.

@@carid . That's what I thought too. I took the car to the dealership and they said the calipers are fine.

I think that its more of a caliper problem then pad and rotor! Like carid said.. clean them and put some new grease on the slides piston.. rebuild your caliper .. cuse i got this kit on my mustang gt for many years now and they are great! Its now a drift only car.. track only and i slam on the brakes , gaz brake what ever you want and they still look brand new and work like new! They dont fade under heat … i need to put new brakes on my silverado 2017 and thats what ill put on it! Because I tested them , on the street and on racing/drift application, and I have 0 complaints! I highly recommend powerstop!

Sounds like a seized caliper. If you internet search you'll see that this is a common issue with their calipers.

Do they make a set for a C3? I ordered a set through Jeggs, but they sent me a kit for a Honda Civic. Kinda bummed about it because it looks like a nice kit.

I have a 2017 mustang gt with the performance package that comes with the brembo front brakes. Do you sell a power stop front rotor and pads to fit with the brembo calipers to match the rear power stop full kit (pads,calipers,rotors)?
@R0cketRed3 жыл бұрын
@@carid Thank you for the super fast response. I found these rotors from power stop, do you think they'll work for the front brembo? Then all I would need is pads once mine wear down. That way both front and back rotors will be the same and look great. I saw the EBC ones you were talking about but unfortunately I'm not rich lol and $731 for a front set of pads and rotors is way too much, even though they are seriously nice. www.carid.com/2017-ford-mustang-brakes/powerstop-drilled-slotted-rotors-729377187.html?parentsubmodel[]=SUBMODEL|GT

Good stopping power, fancy look but that's about it. Squealing like a train, drag. Not even two months in. It's embarrassing. And no, it's not my calipers. Overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go with reputable brands, the likes of Brembo rotors and Akebono pads etc. For a little extra money. I can only imagine what's expecting me in a few months. Garbage brakes
