Thank you for sharing. This is a very nice and straightforward design. Your build quality is good, as well. It is probably very robust and should work well for years to come. Bravo! You provided a schematic = Excellent! Suggestion = In addition to how you used the schematic within the build footage, place the full schematic at the start of the video and leave it on the screen for at least seven seconds. This will give your viewers an opportunity to pause your video and study your circuit. In this way, your viewers will know where you are going to take them. This will improve understanding and learning. Regarding the 4.7 Ohm Output Current Limiting Resistor... I understand your purpose for including it. However, I do not recall seeing it in other designs. I will have to think on its advantages and disadvantages. Additional = As this is a basic design, the voltage can not be set lower than 0.6V. You point this out. It is rather challenging to make the circuit go all the way down to true 0V, because a negative power rail is required. A followup video discussing the different methods of developing a negative rail, along with the advantages and disadvantages of each method, would be great. Please also include fully incorporating it into your present design. Again, my complements. Cheers.

For the 4,7 Ω resistor it is just to make sure that the current should be under 3 Amps If we calculate with Ohms law V=I*Rv 12/4,7=2,553 Amps. Tip 41 mentions in datasheet that can handle 6 Amps but in the real world after 3 Amps i doubt if it will operate. Thank you!

Can you make how to adjust the current as well ❤

Base of the BC139 could be wound up to the positive rail???
@techno-diathesivagelisilio940 Жыл бұрын
The base is connected to the middle pin of potentiometer, which is connected to anode and cathode so when we rotate the base can be positive but can be also to be grounded 0 volts!
