Thanks sir ....really never seen such detailed and clear explanations anywhere...keep up your excellent work sir...clearly the best teacher of power system analysis I was taught this topic in my 3rd year of graduation at IIT Delhi, by IIT professor, But You are best sir!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best teacher in world of power system.Sir please explain concept of distance relays,how the graphs of mho's relay etc. shift.Plzzz upload power system protection lectures as soon as possible,there is dearth of such beautiful lectures on KZbin like urs in this topic. @29.27 sir u explained very well ma'sha Allah ... I've doubt about how b/e the interval 'a' and 'b' the magnitude of Omega is increasing although b/w the same interval Omega is decreasing due to deceleration.. Please explain.

From point 'a' to 'b', magnitude of relative speed of rotor (ωr) with respect to reference speed (ωs) increases as the speed of rotor (ωr) decreases due to deceleration.

Please keep in mind that rotating reference axis rotates at synchronous speed (ωs). Delta (δ) is relative position of rotor with respect to this rotating reference axis. Therefore, first derivative of this delta (δ) gives relative speed of rotor with respect to speed of the rotating reference axis (ωs).

Sir I was having doubt while solving problems. Does the maximum swing of the rotor Delta(m) has to be any point after critical clearing angle or it is the point beyond the critical clearing angle where electrical and mechanical power of after fault curve is same?

Whether when the pv dispatch, rotor angle will decrease? And with the same load condition, when pv outage rotor angle will increase?

Power injection at any bus by pv will be treated as negative load. So, its effect will be similar to that of reduced load.

Dear Sir, In JB Gupa power System book, it is mentioned that Equal Area Criterion is also applicable for 2 machine system but not directly applicable for multi machine systems. As per your lecture this technique is limited in 1 machine system. Which statement is correct ? Sir.

I said, without solving this equation (Swing equation), we can decide whether the system is having transient stability or not, if the system is simple. Just (such as) a synchronous machine connected to an infinite bus.....
