I feel much better about my Warrior purchase, was thinking of returning it, Thanks to You, I changed my mind, and can hang my own curtain rods. lol. God Bless You.

I am so glad I found this series of videos. Something about the vibe has really touched me. I am a complete novice who has just bought their first drill having never done any DIY past flat pack assembley before. I realised that if you rely on other people, you will be waiting all of your life, or end up in a power imbalance. I am nervous but took Helen's advice and bought some filler to accompany the drill - how bad can it be? I loved the chanting and drumming part - felt choked up but empowered - very healing 💚 I would love to see a vid of just singing! Sincerely, Helen 💜

Thank you Helen, I have just stumbled on this video by accident after trawling through other sites for guidance but they were pretty useless as I am a complete novice at using a cordless drill and haven't a clue about all the different pieces to use. There was no explanation in the user instructions of my new drill or which bit to use and I almost sent it back but after seeing your tutorial you have given me the confidence to have a go. I'll keep on watching you from now on, THANKS

Thanks - very helpful for someone totally unfamiliar with drills. No instructions with my new Bosch drill nor on which bit from my new set to use for the different mediums. This may seem obvious to some people but to those who have never used a drill, its essential information.

Thank you for going at my pace. The US demonstrators speak too fast and leave out important stuff like putting the bits into a holder. Hence my electric screwdriver has a bit stuck inside it and I can't get it out. It is old but I think I will have to give up on it. I have an old rechargeable drill so I may try that instead and hope I don't get a bit stuck in that too. I'm a lost cause when it comes to tools and hope you will do some more videos for luddites like me.

I have always hated DIY and convinced myself that I can't use drills etc but now I want to prove to myself that I can. And your tutorial is so helpful and easy to understand. I rarely subscribe to KZbin channels but I am definitely subscribing to this one. I suspect that you would get more views if you were a guy but unfortunately many people still think that men are better at handling drills and other tools.

The clutch doesn't control the "power" of the drill. It sets a limit on how much force the drill will apply. It's meant to help you stop the drill from over driving a screw. The transmission switch controls the speed and torque of the motor. The hammer function on the chick is for masonry walls only. Not sure if "Hard Walls" is an indium for masonry or not.

I did it 😅😂🎉 I drilled 3 holes to put up a bathroom shelving unit/mirror. Thank you so much for this video Helen! 🙏❤ I watched this and your other video kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaO5mpR8fJh4qsUfeature=shared 5 months ago but wanted someone with me to help when I first used the drill because anyone I asked for advice made it seem so complicated & I was scared I'd do something stupid &/or cause damage 🙄 but they looked at me like I was brainless when I asked a couple questions, then just took over, did one of several jobs I had on my list before heading home without letting me drill one hole 🙄 I was way more scared then & completely chickened out but finally got sick of waiting for help & watched your video again today. The plug/screw size chart was especially helpful as well as the masking tape trick & keeping the drill rotating to pull out the dust along with it. Next up, all the pictures I've been waiting to hang 😅

Question!... Anyone else ever find that just as you're finishing drilling a screw into something, the drill sometimes whips your wrist around into a painful sprain? it's just happened me a few times and always felt like it could've gone way worse, so been making me kinda nervous lately. I realise i'm probably doing something stupid like just holding the button down a second too long, and need to time it better when letting go of the button or something , but if anyone has any pointers or Do's&Don'ts I might be overlooking would be great please And great video Helen, Thanks

Helen you're amazing - I was just about to buy a £75 drilling course but you've taught me all I need to know in this video and the brick drilling!!!!!!!
