Oh, NO!! Just found this great channel today and it's so perfect for me, as I now know a lot of words and grammar, but need to practice to form sentences as I've only learned it online by my self at home and I don't know anyone who speaks Spanish and I've never been speaking Spanish to or with other persons ... and now see there might not come new videos..?? It's so sad. But I'll spend time to watch and learn from all the "old" videos and hope there will come more in the future. Greetings from Denmark :D

You’re awesome. I appreciate these lessons!!! Sent your beginner lesson to my supervisor to stew on. The command Spanish at work isn’t sufficient for my unit, as we work with neonates and not with patients who understand commands.

Thanks for the video! Question - Why, when saying "we want to" (queremos) do we not add que afterwards? However, "we have to" does add the que (tenemos que).
@peachy_reina6 жыл бұрын
freespiritmara for some things, i think that's just the way it is lol like, why in English do we have so many words that sound the same but with different meanings? Ex. There, their, they're...your, you're..so, sew, sow
@larrynarvaez75454 жыл бұрын
Queremos = we want (from the verb querer, meaning to want, to desire); tenemos que = we have to, we must (from the phrasal verb tener que, meaning to have to, must). So, querer does not entail “que” while tener, in this sense, has to have “que” in order to complete its meaning. 😊✌️✌️

I thought No tenemos que means you must not do something not you don't have to. Thought you needed to say No es necesario to say you don't have to . Didn't you have a video explaining this previously yourself?
@maustick0086 жыл бұрын
Ruth Davies You might be mixing it up. Tenemos que means we must. No tenemos que is just saying we don't have to. To say we must not do something would be No debemos... You can use No es necesario, but it sounds too polite if you just want to have a casual conversation.
