Here's those bits that are too small to read:
How much power?
Twice the amp - guitar "rule" ( heavy distortion )
Same as the amp - bass "rule" ( some distortion )
Half the amp - PA "rule" ( very clean )
Factors affecting thermal power handling:
Voice coil material and glues
Voice coil size
All 1.75” apart from 2” Redback and 2.5” Neo 250 and BN12-300S
Conduction (former/cone/dustcap)
Radiation (pole pieces)
Convection (vents/dustcap)
Factors affecting low frequency motor limited power handling:
10-11mm coil
8mm gap
1-1.5mm pure xmax
3-3.5mm 10% xmax
Main factor affecting low frequency power handling:
Cone and suspension
Power vs Model
15 Blue
20 EVH
25 Greenback
30 Anniversary (or 2x Blue)
35 Ruby
40 (2x EVH)
50 Gold A-Type Hempback (or 2x Greenback)
60 V30 NeoCream (or 2x Anniversary)
65 CreamM 65-Heritage
70 V-Type+Neo
75 CreamH T75
80 Lead
90 Cream
100 K100 (or 2x Gold / A-Type / Hempback)
120 (2x V30 / NeoCream)
130 (2x CreamM / 65-Heritage)
140 (2x V-Type+Neo)
150 Redback (or 2x CreamH / T75)
160 (2x Lead)
180 (2x Cream)
250 Copperback
300 BN12
How guitar cab type affects power handling:
Open-backed
High excursion = Lowest peak power handling
Good cooling = Middling continuous broadband power handling
Closed
Medium excursion = Middling peak power handling
Worst cooling = Lowest continuous broadband power handling
AVD
Low excursion = Highest peak power handling
Best cooling = Highest continuous broadband power handling
Ported
Low excursion = Highest peak power handling
Worst cooling = Lowest continuous broadband power handling

Extra power handling never hurts. Sensitivity will be significant. So many factors come into play especially with guitar amps because you not only have to consider room size and distance to the listener but if you want to overdrive the output tubes for tone or sustain a speaker with too much sensitivity could make it hard to do without getting too loud.

As far as questions go, can you possibly give us real world useful ability to estimate decibels. I've been told about 124db for a bass amp is pretty ideal. You've mentioned in the past that decibel readings are more important than wattage. Was curious if we could get some real world examples.
