I appreciate the look and design of the building, but one thing I was hoping for was a demonstration of how to do neat and clean wiring for powering a Settlement like Sanctuary. For myself, I end up with a tangled network with places that will cause people to trip at best or garotte themselves at worst.

You should check out Skooled Zone's no mod shop class playlist. He has videos on all kinds of tips. His term for making them look wireless is WiFi glitch, it's about midway through that playlist. It still works on the next gen update for ps5

I wanted to light up a poster (Mr.Pebbles the cat) in my room but didn't want to put a freaking generator in the room and the poster requires a wire. I tried your trick ( 4:40 ) and used power conduits without the switches and everything connects! Live saver 👏👏

I found a new glitch the other day I call the "double wire glitch". It's like the regular wire glitch where you can hide wires below ground, but you can make TRULY wireless items. I don't have a video because I literally found it JUST a few days ago while screwing around at Home Plate in Diamond City. But basically you need to get a couple connectors that are high up off the ground. Then wire-glitch one connector, and then double-wire glitch another wire by focusing on the object you WANT to link, but have both sets of wires in the way. When you hit the button, the wires disappear, and the item you want is now considered "wired" even though it isn't and you can move it around anywhere because there's no wire attached. But terminals stay connected, cycling lights still work, switches are powered, etc. Found it playing the VR port, but I know it works on flat screen because my friend tried it.

@foreskinsI dunno about that I checked, the only thing I found was wireless power which had to do with how light bulbs are powered by conduits without a direct connection. Unless he calls it something completely weird. Edit: To be clear I'm not familiar with that channel specifically apart from knowing it exists, but I did some Googling and couldn't find any record of anyone else covering this.

@foreskinsYeah I found one titled something similar to that and it was the basic wire glitch where you can "bury" your cables. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying I can't find it, and apparently neither can anyone else! If nothing else it's a good point that this needs more attention, because while it's a bit tricky to set up, it is super fun to play around with. Particularly those cycling lights, set them up everywhere, rig them up to a console, randomize them all with a single switch. It's like Christmas. That's actually how I stumbled on it myself, I wanted to rig up a light switch by the bed up there in Home Plate so I could just turn everything on and off all at once, with all the wires buried below the ground or behind walls. And out of nowhere, wham. Had a cycling light, attached to a switch, with no wire between them. Blew my fricken mind.

Fallout 4 on PC - SETTLEMENT building. What mods would your recommend from Nexus that help increase the amount of items to build with but that also have quality of life improvements. For example I'm looking to: a) BE ABLE to build underground like in a bunker like in fallout 76 b) build with different textures on both sides of the walls - so with wallpapers c) be able to SPAWN in passive NPCs like robots or hostile ones like ghouls to lock in an area (cage) like a prisoner. D) build doors with self powered switches to open/close a door or to lock it and USE a keycard that only i have access to. I've read and seen and am thinking of the following: wireless electricity mod, scrap everything mod, snappy house mod, settlement objects expansion mod. Can you good people offer any other suggestions - and which order to load them in without breaking one another. P.s. I'm allay going to install "war of the commonwealth " and"real ai" .

How do you power the nuka world arcade PROJECTORS ? Zeta invaders projection, red menace projection and pipfall hero protection. The light bulb in the roof works from the conduit... all 3 protection lamps are in close vicinity.. but none work :/ must i built a special terminal or anything else?

I can't look anywhere near a conduit without highlighting it, let alone look right at it without highlighting it

Keep trying. Try different positionings of the wire and conductors. 👽 Eventually, you'll get it to where you can have the wire highlighted while looking at the connector.

Why don’t you just connect the door directly to the generator and the conduits directly to the pylon inside . The door would work on it’s own and so would the lights

The fact they made the power so damn hard to work is so frustrating like I just want to delete the game all I want is lights in my building and you have to do glitches and everything in-between to get power inside a building
