I don't understand why MGK doesn't rap like this on the album. He had couple tracks where he was rapping like this, but all the other tracks were country/pop rap.

"27" is one of the best songs of the past 10 yearsm, truly shows his versatility and lyrical prowess. You clearly are a blind purist who hates on every hip hop song who isn't strictly rap.

Dou Ahou for starters, MGK has NEVER made a country or pop song in his life. He expanded his talent and made a few punk/alternative rock/rap songs, but never country. Idk where you got that idea from. Just because his music is evolving and not just rapping the same way on every song like YOU would like, doesn't mean it's terrible or a mistake as you put it. bloom is an AMAZING album if you're an MGK fan or appreciate ALL types of music. You probably ONLY listen to rap, right? And your favorite rapper is probably Migos or Future where they sound the same on literally EVERY FUCKING SONG!!

27 is his worst song so far. First part of 27 sounded like country and the ending sounded like a rock. It just doesn't work for him. When he is rapping on scary/hard beat like in "The Gunner" track he sounds great, but when he does these country/rock/pop tracks it doesn't sound like him at all. For example if Kendrick Lamar does Jazz/Pop sounding rape records he still sounds like himself. And for these petty insults....... I rather be a "blind purist" than a fucking dick rider.
