Yet another great video! So I read Atomic Habits (technically Heard the Audio book) & started implementing this! Jan 1st 2022 i weighed around 90kgs! The sole goal of 2022 was to become healthy & build a habit of working out at least 5 days a week & eating healthy & sleeping early (and atleast 7 hrs a day!) So i planned my day accordingly & had these sticky notes right in front of me to remind me of my goals .. and day in and day out i repeated the same things over n over again. In the course i was demotivated multiple times but there comes the magic of discipline. I just did it for the sake of it until its a habit now & i enjoy it than ever! Same the started with my DSA prep goal last Dec 2022! Its been a month now(Jan 2023) & i have been solving on avg 3-5 problems on weekdays (given my erratic work hours) & 10 problems on weekends! I know I am not there yet but am sure with these baby steps, I will be there soon! Result : 1. I am 65 kilos right now & all my blood works came perfect by gods grace! 2. I cook my own food & do mindful eating 3. Much more aware of my mind and health 4. I sleep by 11 (most f the days) & sleep 7 hrs! 5. I meditate at least 10 mins ( working on improving that too) 6. Already solved over 100+ problems in leetcode (mostly easy ones ) 5. Learnt to say a blunt "NO" to people!

I completely agree with this 100%! A lot of us self taught developers or anyone trying to break into tech may have some doubt that we aren’t smart enough ect, but it really comes down to creating a habit or behavior. 95% of our lives is controlled by our subconscious because it’s a habitual mind and a behavior mind. If you can control your subconscious, you can control your life. Good luck to everyone on this journey!

Most of my days are slipping away with nothing but sleeping and scrolling, but I’ve decided I can’t let this continue into 2025. I’m challenging myself to use the next 30 days to build good habits and improve myself before the year ends. This video will serve as my journal to track my progress and keep me motivated. I’ve been in the software industry for 30 years - but taught myself to code way back in the late 70s, starting first with machine/assembly language. I have to be honest, I couldn’t imagine learning to code just to get into the industry and earn money. I learned to code because I was absolutely passionate and fascinated by computers…..I coded because I loved doing it, and spent nearly every spare moment coding. The fact that I finally ended up working as a developer and earning good money was incidental….I ended up getting well paid for something I was already doing. Almost all the best developers I’ve worked with have this trait, the love of programming comes first, and then the money is the reward.

1. Sometimes it's hard to learn something new, like how to code. 2. But if you do little things every day to help you learn, it can make a big difference. 3. It's like when a plane changes direction just a little bit, it can end up in a different place. 4. You can make good habits by having something that reminds you to start, like using your laptop to start learning to code. 5. It's important to keep doing those little things every day, even if you don't see a big change right away. 6. If you build good habits, you can be really good at coding and get a good job!

Many people do, yes. Most courses for me...or even formal education in general turned me off from pursuing many things, because I spent a lot of hours in the institute itself (I grow tired by people interaction very quickly) and had homework or projects on top of that, plus the pressure knowing that I was going to be graded... + because I came to the conclusion that if you have your mindset settled any method will work for you anyway, and vice versa, if you are not motivated and dont want to none of these methods would work not for long term at least. So you need to push yourself into it at some point and WANT to do it. When you start wanting to learn the rest comes with it, you build your own way to learn and your own methods. You realize the times you are at your best and can get more work done at those times. I am saying those because I had watched countless of videos on youtube on "how to study" how to do better, best time to study, best routine, and yes they give you an idea BUT i wish I studied instead of spending that much time on trying to learn how to. Because you end up with learning and doing your own way of things anyway :) Anyway I will go back to studying and I hope this helps the other people who are reading this. Take care people and dont be late on starting what you want to learn and be doing!

My "problem" is that if I try to implement a project, I most likely can put all the little pieces (mostly pieces from Google) together and get the result I wanted. But I could never build those projects I have already successfully achieved without Google. I find it hard to actually "learn" coding when I don't have a plan on how to, so I don't know if I'm a bad programmer or not.

I have been trying to stick to coding for long its being more than 2 year each time after a while i kept on delaying it. And somehow i believe any video can motivate you for short while. But bringing new habit into your lifestyle is hard but never late. So i am now also picking this 30 day challenge. Will be posting there soon with my status.

So today is 01-09-2023 And I am currently disciplined towards my other good habits, but that's not the case with coding. So I am taking a 30 day challenge where I would • Do 2 leetcode questions daily • My Frog task would be watching the tutorials • The time I spent learning >= the time I spent on phone. • just after my workout session, i would sit daily for studying. Will come after a month

#30dayschallenge I'm doing a online bootcamp to become a Frontend Developer , besides my full-time work. Sometimes it's hard to learn after 9-10 hours of work.. I rly believe that this challenge will help me build more consistency for learning and coding!
