Thanks again, Costas! You're doing quite a service to the PB community. Would you consider doing a video dedicated to recommended antenna placement and orientation examples. I know every aircraft is different but for some reason I am struggling finding optimal antenna placement and orientation on a Rebel Max. Presently using Competition SRS with two PB26D, and on 26XS, so a total of 5 antennas. I am going to move the second 26D to the vertical tail plane next...

FMs are on my to do list at some stage. Still trying to figure out the best way to explain the switching logic for FMs so they are simple to understand in a short video.

Spektrum definitely shows signal strength of all 4 receivers and you can setup logging on a switch. Then download the log from the sd card for analysis via third party software. There is only one reading for holds. This data is shown on the flight log. Not sure why more people aren’t aware of this. This means that your comment at the 2:18 mark is not accurate. Either way I’m switching to P box and will surely appreciate your videos as I learn more.

@@tonym995 Yes Spektrum does treat each individual sat Rx as a separate Rx which is good, it's just that it does not report signal quality which is very important with digital systems in discerning whether your signal is good or bad. Ideally you need both, RSSI and Quality for proper evaluation of the signal as you can easily have instances of good RSSI but poor quality which is usually due to interference.

Only for LQI...I set it to alarm at 40%.

@ You can always set it slightly higher for more safety margin, say 50% or even 60% to trigger say a first warning.

How does the PBR-7S compare to other receivers with 2 antennas?

The PBR-7S has the same sensitivity - It is basically the same as half of the receivers with 2 antennas. You just need to be a little careful when positioning the one antenna so it cannot become blocked from the two Tx signals (Atom and Core feature two transmitters) by any large metal/conductive items in the aircraft. Otherwise it has the same range and performance.
