Whats your thoughts on set numbers and percentages? Do you ever use jump squats before squats or clap pushups before bench? 5 sets of 5 or 3 working sets? Lots of theories, some say work daily for technique, but at lower percentages, others say lift heavy but 2-3 times per week. If you want to bench 550, squat 800, deadlift 800 how would you train?

I’ve done box jumps but always AFTER leg training for fun! Highest I’ve hit was 50” .. I’ve done clapping push-ups but again for fun not prior to big lifts. There are a lot of theories on sets/reps. One must find out what works best for them, no one glove fits all.. it’s a marathon not a sprint so why not try everything and see what carries over best to achieve your goals. 550bp 800sq and 800dl a lot more will be required than sets/reps/frequency ranges
