Unreal, the reps at these weights are fucked! Your better then the guys that have millions of subs! I bet if you started doing more instructional vids your channel would explode, if you enjoy that sorta thing.

Interesting how you use wraps on some lifts and knee sleeves on others. Is this mainly for protection or for lifting performance? Do you ever use cold therapy like showers post training if the patella tendons get sore? I encountered this wim hof method 2 weeks ago and it helps when im doing 525x2 on deadlifts, this is a weight you do for light days. Do you augment the vit d3 with vit k from foods like spinach or just supplements? Whats your opinion on Valentin Dikuls 1000 lb squat? Valentin pressing the 300+ ball overhead at 70 yrs of age looks like my dad unfortunately my dad hasnt lifted like Valentin. Dikul runs some rehab clinic now in Moscow and sometimes posts old man lifts with heavy weight. Hes one of my favorites.

Actually I haven’t used knee wraps in a very long time, probably 2 years.. I squat using knee sleeves and sometimes go bare knees. When I competed in wraps my squats were 700+ lbs, body took a beating, surely don’t miss that. Only cold “therapy” I use is biofreeze and that’s a rare occasion. I do supplement with vitamin d3. I’ll have to look up those lifts, haven’t seen them but sounds like crazy numbers at that age!

@@MindisJurenas Valentin Dikul is a Lithuanian icon. This man fell from feet above the floor in the circus. Couldnt walk. He retrained himself to walk when told he couldnt. Some dont believe his lifts say fake weights. Dikul is legit the real deal. There are no fake atlas stones for strongman that i know of. How he was at basically my dads age to press a stone over 350 lbs is amazing.

Do you follow a conjugate type training style?

Yes sir! Went to Westside Barbell back in 2011 for few days off training. Been incorporating their style of training since

@@MindisJurenas I love this way of training and want to incorporate it too how many days a week do you train and how many are max effort?
@MindisJurenas4 жыл бұрын
@@DuaqsToir typically 4-5 days/week. Max effort days depends on what I’m training for. Lately I squat/press heavy weekly, deadlift heavy every other week
