Congratulations, I hope you love yours as much as I do mine. I am starting the process of getting my 2nd rehab chair. Can't understand why I have to go through all that paperwork for the 2nd one. I still do laundry, cook, make my bed, sweep, vacuum etc. It gives me an almost normal life. When you get the vehicle it is really going to be monumental. Take care

I'm looking to get a new chair in a couple of months hopefully!! nothing beats getting a new chair it's like getting a new car lol definitely gonna be asking for a seat lift I help out alot in the kitchen somethings I have to make It work it lol and maybe lighting system I doubt insurance will cover that part lol glad you happy with your chair! I had a chair like yours but orange

“Congrats” on successfully navigating the process. If you’ve only ever used the portable chairs the experience is night and day. Did you choose Quantum and mid wheel drive OR did the supplier heavily suggest you go that way? I prefer Permobil personally but a Q6 Edge mid wheel drive isn’t bad for your first complex rehab chair. You will find that the battery life is relatively limited as they use smaller Group 22NF batteries (versus larger group 24/34) on Permobil. Also the MWD outdoors you may find relatively bumpy compared to FWD but if your perspective is a portable chair with no suspension I assume it works well for you

I’m in a q6 edge 2.0. They didn’t really give me options to “shop,” but I’m happy with it

Pretty expensive, like the price of a new car. But with health insurance, your payment will be a lot lower, I paid $600
