This one made it clear for me that Shumi's life n mine were not just slight resemblance when it comes to motorcycles and what importance they hold in our lives, but an absolute carbon copy. May not be that exuberant stamp collection I had, but still a decent one along with my self made automobile magazine comprising of newspaper cutouts of superbikes n cars n formula1. In this era of internet where anyone is open to all sorts of info at just a tap, Shumi's words felt like the unexpressed feeling which goes on through my mind (including Shumi n maybe many other who value motorcycles so much in their life) when people just want to do the motorcycle thing anyway instead of doing it right n doing it all in. The easier it becomes while acquiring something the lesser we tend to respect it. Ride safe ride far. May god bless the entire Motokind🙏

There's so much to know about and from this man.. I liked how Shumi casually opened up about his life. This guy could have quoted any big, successful billionaire of the world.. but he chose to quote examples from his life.. examples or ideologies that he has lived by day in and day out.. now that is something to respect. As for the content, it was 12 minutes and 32 seconds of Life lessons, every person needs to listen.. rider or not, automobile enthusiast or not... What I wouldn't give to ride and learn from the Veteran! Hats Off Shumi! Hats Off PowerDrift!

I totally relate to you in school. That's exactly how I was. Still am an annoying know-it-all, but have matured enough to know that I actually don't know anything. And this curiosity should be the driving force in everyone's life, for at least one thing that they feel passionately about. I binge watched these podcasts and honestly, the overlap of motorcycles and philosophy reminds me of "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance". Absolutely stellar!

Completely accept everything which you said, everybody needs to focus on what motorcycling is all about rather than just seeing what the spec sheet tell and what other enthusiast tell about it. It's always not about the motorcycle, it's about the rider who rides it. Rider skills and knowledge matters the most in motorcycling, which many need to understand..!!

A great life lesson shumi. I usually love reading about anything that I get into, but for some irrational reason, I subconsciously thought of motorcycling as a part of life that is done practically and never read up too much about it, but you've changed all of that. For me the difference comes from the way I feel while working on my bikes or while riding them, I get the feel of how my bikes piston/pistons are moving at this rpm and what ratio of afr is in an action, what sort of ignition timing is in play, what suspension settings I am running and how it’s behaving with the current set of rubbers etc which usually covers the entire bike vs few so called self proclaimed bikers as they got money and biking is another way for them to show their wealthy lifestyle and it takes them to some resort over the weekend. For me every bike comes with its purpose vs any bike costing over 5 L is “superbike”
