I love this English speaking exercise ❤. Sometimes I get some trouble trying to match the native speakers' rhythm and pronunciation, I know most English speakers talk faster than me but I'll keep the good work with my fluency in this fun language. Thanks for your valuable help.

But what does ‘burning the midnight oil’ and ‘don’t cry over spilled milk ‘ means??
@EnglishEasyPractice7 ай бұрын
"Burning the midnight oil" means working late into the night or putting in extra effort to get something done. It's often used when someone is working hard and sacrificing sleep to accomplish a task. "Don't cry over spilled milk" is an expression encouraging people not to waste time worrying about things that have already happened and cannot be changed. It suggests moving forward and not dwelling on past mistakes or accidents. Feel free to ask if you have more questions! 🌟

@EnglishEasyPractice8 ай бұрын
Thank you for that good question. Instead of explaining the meaning of the idioms, we want you to learn them in the context. You can guess their meaning without looking at a dictionary. And, after you finish the lesson, you can check their meaning from a dictionary. This is an easy, permanent, and powerful way to learn new vocabulary and expressions in English. Happy learning 😊
