This is a very short video dedicated to my students, specifically to my MSc students working in their reserach project using the feature of Quasi-Dynamic simulations in DigSILENT PowerFactory.

Hi Francisco, wondering If you could make a lesson about quasi dynamic simulation for the battery on grid (V2G), where battery will be charged and discharged when needed. thanks

Dear Prof. Longatt, many thanks for this video. I am also doing my MSc on Quasi Dynamic Analysis. I am trying to export the results for example, Active Power Losses into Excel for the entire 24-hours instead of displaying on the graph. How can i do this Sir?

Hey,am running a Quasi Dynamic Simulation for a mini grid model with a solar PV but my plots(curves) are not continuous .Like there is a break between morning and late night hours in the curve plots. Where could I be going wrong because my loads have characteristics throughout the day like for 24 hours? Someone Please

i had the same problem in the plot, did you ever figure out what was the problem?

Thank you so much Sir. If I am modelling a Microgrid with solar PV, Is it correct that I need to use Quasi-Dynamic Simulation sir?
@FranciscoGonzalezLongatt4 жыл бұрын
Dear @Remember Samu, everything depends on what you are planning to do... If you are interested in seeing the impact of a time series of one variable (e.g. power demand) on the voltage profile, you can use power flows. Quasi-dynamic is used if you are interested in any of the states of the system and the change over the time depending on a time series...e.g. SOC of a BESS over 24h. For more information please read the PF user's manual.
