Powerful Dua for repentance (tawbah) made by Adam (AS)

This is the du’a Prophet Adam (as) recited after sinning in paradise. Recite it often during the blessed month of Ramadan:
“Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost.” [7:23]
“Rabbana zalamna anfusina wa il lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lana kunan minal-khasireen.”
Being able to admit your faults and to feel guilt is a beautiful sign of our belief and dedication to Allah SWT, and it's also the first step to changing ourselves for the better!
We ask for His forgiveness during Ramadan and the ability to change for the better so we avoid repeating our past mistakes.

@@MemesKiJagah, it is bad to publicly express your sins. Keep them between yourself and Allah, and if the sin was something you did to someone else then you apologize to the person who you did bad to, but keep it between Allah, them, and you

Don't go too hard on yourself, at the end we're humans and we're not perfect, although we strive to be... don't forget that Allah also says in the quran "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." If you were really to look deep into this verse it would melt your heart, is it not enough that Allah mentions in the quran that he loves those who repent and that it is mentioned in a hadith that The Prophet (pbuh) said, “When Allah created the creatures, He wrote in the Book, which is with Him over His Throne: “Verily, My Mercy prevailed over My Wrath.” look at all these signs of Allah's mercy and there's much more! But the trick of shaytan is to make us think otherwise in a way where he'll make you doubt if Allah (swt) forgave you. Allah also says in the quran that he does not punish his servants who seek his forgiveness. Look to top this off you regretting the sin is a sign of Allah's love. Dont give up keep making tawbah and have the best thought on Allah that Indeed he has accepted your repentance in sha allah. And Allah knows best ♡ Remember, you have a Forgiving and loving lord, Jannah is filled with sinners who have repented. Wallahi, this made me cry, i always try to stay awake from making sins, but eventually, i end up doing the same sin, i always ask forgiveness and now im afraid to face my future life, how am i going to explain this in the future 😭💔. Thank you so much for this, it literally made me cry and i want to repent to Allah asap i will work on it inshAllah 😭🥺

Hear me out, Allah swt is guiding you right now by paving the way for you using your brothers and sisters in islam to help you. Youre not alone especially when the Almighty is witnessing you and sees you, he knows you better than you know yourself. You may have fed your heart what your soul cant preserve and therefore your soul misses its creator and yearns to come back. Its never too late, not so long the sun hasnt started rising in the west, Allah’s door of rahma are still open, come back to him and beg him for Allah loves to hear the begging of his true servant than the one who is arrogant and yet when we beg another fellow human he or she get annoyed hhh subhanallah. Become stronger brother, you have the potential to become someone great! take the sahaba for example how WHEN they became muslims THEY also became the 10 men garanteed JANNAH! (so lucky ikr) May Allah enter us jannah through he’s mercy… Ask no one but Allah and repent a sincere repentance from within your heart and know In Sha Allah Allah has forgiven you but watch out, your enemy is going to try and lure you into another trap. When shaytan sees a servant of Allah returning to repent or become better, shaytan hits hard on him and blocks the road of hope from him making the person doubt and think “what if” or, “Has Allah really forgiven me? Was it meant to be this simple? But what ive done is too big and bad?” NO! BY ALLAH your SINS are nothing to that GREATNESS of ALLAH’S MERCY. Dont start assuming that what you have done is greater than the one who created the heavens and earth in 6 days NO! BY ALLAH, Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty said: O son of Adam, if you call upon Me and place your hope in Me, I will forgive you despite what is within you and I will not hesitate. O son of Adam, if you have sins piling up to the clouds and then ask for My forgiveness, I will forgive you without hesitation. O son of Adam, if you come to Me with enough sins to fill the earth and then you meet Me without associating anything with Me, I will come to you with enough forgiveness to fill the earth.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3540 The steps is simple, 1.Stop/quit the sin 2.Feel sorry for doing it 3.Make the decision not to do it again If you can sincerely meet these 3 conditions then know that your repentance is accepted even if you slip up again always return back to these 3 conditions. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you. It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari). Hadith 33, 40 hadith qudsi There are many hadith and i suggest you do your research and start reading quran and understand it. Ps brother i sincerely advice you to start off my deleting all your melodic videos, for u are not benefitting from it except that you get sins. When you leave the haram for Allah ,,,,watch what will happen, youll never have felt better. You have a pure heart and by allah this is a sign right now and know that the sinners who repent are beloved to allah that Allah orders the angels to bring forward their bad deeds and convert them into good ones. Allhamdulillah Allah chose you to come back perhaps Allah saw something in you that you couldnt see in yourself.
