App cast, labs and hide notifications in TV are new things added in one ui 5, I just received the update just yesterday in my phone. These are pretty handy features. In my family, it's my phone that always use to cast screen on TV when we watch movies, so those new features will be very useful for me. Especially that hide notifications features, I no longer had to turn on do not disturb for that.

There's also hidden features in smart view that you have to do a special procedure to access. Look up KZbin videos on using your samsung device as a second display for windows computers and it will explain how to get the developer options for smart view which aren't to be1 confused with the other developer options menus.

Great stuff again. I just subscribed. A question. My current Dell laptop is a 16:9 aspect ratio, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 I am about to purchase has a 16:10 aspect ration. I could chose a different new laptop with a 16:9 aspect ratio if there is reason to, but that brings up my question. This Smart View feature on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, will that work the same or better on one of those two aspect ratios, 16:9 or 16:10?

I use a mouse with my Smart View and that stupid icon on the screen settings menu icon I guess that's what you call it pops out and gets in the way every time you can make it go off screen but if you touch it with your cursor it pops back out you can't see it on your big screen is there any Samsung phones that have not got that feature my old Galaxy 7 and 9 didn't have that stupid thing

Hi on Sony TV go to inputs and select screen mirroring and follow the prompts. After that open the smart view toggle, the TV should show up
