i’m autistic and this show was so fucking great- i connected with so many of the characters and it explored so many important topics within the autistic community. i’m so glad that they touched on ‘nothing about us without us’ and addressed different forms of ableism we experience. i do wish that they somehow addressed that there are people with higher support needs than the people in the show because all the people in the show had relatively low support needs but that’s my main criticism. otherwise, wonderful show that really humanized us- i hope that people see it and understand what autism *actually* is.

As someone who is on the spectrum it’s wonderful to see a musical that shines a light on it. We need more of this in the world and more awareness about autism. We are just like everyone else we are just a little different. Please support our autism community ❤️❤️❤️
