I discovered this abt 20 months ago. Used the guided version first so I knew how to visualise it. This one and the 1 hr is my preference. My shaman would call me with drum beats eg. lying in bed I’d hear the mattress springs drum or absentmindedly finding myself drumming my fingers on a table, a tap on the foot etc. I have had some amazing experiences from questions answered to flying like a bird over landscapes, being taught many things like how to heal and so on. Whoa, I ended up experiencing an entire journey in less than 5 minutes, but dang, that was crazy! I felt enveloped in a series of red, orange, and yellow colors and then in a lush emerald green chasm that soon became visible and I was running through a cyan colored ruins area with vines and vegetation scaling pillars. From there, I was presented with a blue carpet that lifted me high into the air and was floating through an area that kept alternating between blue and white cubes flying erratically. What a journey! Definitely gotta do that again, because i never felt so relaxed doing something so hectic.

I meditate to it often. Some may say the drumming is to fast but to me it represents (and reduces the a little bit) the speed in my brain. It's so relaxing and I sit so still that most of my body sends identical information to my brain over and over again. Which results in some kind of error and my brain interprets the position of my limbs and body in different but always unrealistic ways. Hard to describe. For e.g. I rotate clockwise, my hands sit in my lap but it feels like my eyes are under them and I watch them above me. My body feels negative, like a t shirt which gets turned inside out. Sometimes I feel flat, like a sheet of paper floating in dark emptiness. Or I forget where I am and float in space, like the earth vanished suddenly and there's nothing left but me and the drum. It's a crazy but very enjoyable feeling. Probably best described as some kind of a natural high.

I saw some entity and am still not quite sure what it was, but I know it has a sense of humour! I only saw it in a flash. It may have been wearing a mask. I'm not sure. I've just read Howard Charing's "The Accidental Shaman", which is why I've been looking in to this. It's one of the most interesting books I've come across. I bet you know it!
