Powerful soldering iron INVERTER 12V

This is strong soldering iron using 12V. It uses 2 mosfet IRF3205, drive ZVS. mosfet when working very cool. Current consumption of 4A at 12V.

take more than 2,5mm wire for secondary winding to get lower heating of this wire the temperature divides between cooper heater & secondary winding by difference of their thickness (or/and by difference of electrical resistance) thicker wire have lower resistance, so it heat lower than cooper heater

Would you mind sharing how the winding of the ferrite is done? you r video shows but how do you connect the center tap? I noticed is 3 wires per turn but when you tap in the center is done with 2 wires.. how is that done? I just need to understand that part.. Hopefully you can PM me? I will appreciate it.

Hello! collected for sure. does not heat up at all, power supply 12 volts 3 amperes. the diode fr107 is heated. if you take this part in your hands and the transistors are on top, the lower diode fr107 heats up. why ?? I apologize if I wrote it wrong, translated it in Google. ))

Sir I'm an electronic hobbyist technician. I want to know wether could I print this circuit on a paper and look this diagram and do the same as you had made it. It's a very wonderful iron of 12 volts. IRF transistors are staying very cool not even need heat sink at all..im planning to assemble it in a PVC pipe. With a built in battery back up and also use a charger for it. So that even use it remote areas whare power supply is not in reach and also can be used during power failures.

it's a trick to wind it more symmetrically and faster: you wind the doubled wire strand, which means 6 wires at a time, then you cut them in the middle and resolder on strand with one of the other. Just think it through with a single wire.

este video é montagem este circuito não funciona, primeiro motivo as resistência não tem especificação de watts, segundo o transformador primário tem uma união de espiras de fios, qual é esta divisão exata 3 volta da cada lado, terceiro qual a bitola do fio usada no filtro, quantas voltas, duvido muito que isto funcione

Não sabe oq é circuito ZVS? Isso é um inversor, só que abaixa a tensão de 12v para em torno de 1v com alta amperage, tem o primário e secundário e o transformador de ferrite...
