Hi Jeff Hope u are fine. Recently i am facing battery drain issue with my S24 ultra and the main reason is Contact Storage. When i searched the internet i came to know this issue has been faced by many people since few years and is not just restricted to Samsung. I dont know whether this is a google issue or what. I have not come across any video on this topic from any youtuber. I would appreciate if u can figure out the solution to this problem. Thanks

Looks like the caseology parallax, I'm too well-versed with 24U cases haha. I'm using my pitaka cases for the rest of the life of my 24U, loving the pinbutton case and of course the MagEZ 4... the caseology athlex though is such a great case, in many ways it is the best case for the 24U. Which is crazy for $12, but it gives amazing feel and grip.

Doesn't backing up and restoring the settings potentially reintroduce the broken settings that caused the battery drain?

You'd think so but sometimes Android processes do weird things and go rogue. Resetting to your saved settings may end that rogue behavior

I don't restore for the almost same reason. With newer OS you just can't expect the same flags to be present from your old phone, causing bugs. I always start from scratch when I have new phone. It'll be especially useful when you upgrade 5 years down the line, Samsung advertises these phones with 7 years update. Android OS is a lot different 5 years from now. If you try to restore settings, bugs will be there, I don't trust them enough to care about that. Fresh setup is better.

After I make a backup of settings in the cloud, I click on reset settings and then restore settings from the cloud that I backed up?

I backed up my settings to the Samsung cloud, how do I load them onto the phone again?? After the backup, my phone restarted and I went to "accounts and backup". There is only "back up data" option, NO "restore" option.
